Mayors report on Provo, Orem

Wow...Chaffetz is turning out to be somewhat misleading. Everything I hear about him now that he has won, makes me wish there was someone else to vote for.

...have you been on? Chaffetz is doing exactly what he said he was going to do back in Washington. He espoused conservative principles during his campaign and that's exactly what he's presenting in Washington. Finally, a politician who does what he says he's going to do once in office!

Actually, Chaffetz is doing well. He was upfront as to his plans and attitudes. He was the best running. I look forward to him continuing.

I am glad that Provo and Orem are doing as well as they are.

Jason has done what he said he would. Nice to hear he is ticking off a few people. (No, that isn't a goal, but..).

Are you kidding? Everything Chaffetz said during the campaign should lead one to believe that he will oppose more government spending. I have no problem with that.

Disappointing? We haven't seen or heard much of anything, it's been a few of days since he's been in office, give me a break! You just want to rip the guy based on your preconceived notions, like all of your other troll buddies I've seen trying to hit the blogs and comment sections.

Lets do a real comparison of these two Mayors. Who is always in the news for controversial issues? Billings! Who's City is on the brink of financial ruin because of their poor management? Billings! Which City's employees, over 98%, despise their leadership? Provo! Who has cost their City millions of dollars? Billings! Who has spent millions of dollars that were not budgeted for nor approved by the Council? Billings! Who has squandered a massive surplus? Billings! Who has spent millions of tax payer dollars through unplanned and unbudgeted projects to buy a few votes? Billings! Who continually tells their employees, "you are not telling me what I want to hear?" Billings! Who has told his professional employees that have decades of experience that he knows more than they do? Billings! Which City's infrastructure is worse than when they started? Billings! Which Mayor sold basically gave away millions of dollars of investment and infrastructure but the City still carries all the risk? Billings! Which Mayor needs to go? Billings!
