A response to Re: Who's better off @ 11:07 | 6:21 p.m. Jan. 6, 2009

SCIENTISTS: True, although far fewer today. Still a fact that Bush actively sought to silence the research that now clearly shows global warming from mans activities. Sadly, these are not the only instances of Bush manipulation of science.

MEDIA: The facts still remain in spite of your ignorance. Case in point: New York Times reported dropped from the press corp after a non-favorable article was written. Again, Bushs antics dont stop there. Im sorry but no one but you and Bush are laughing.

US VOTERS: Rovian Politics. Fact. Nope...Im still not laughing.

US ALLIES: Only one...count it ONE ally did. The French and many others did not. Even so the British are back peddling and now completely out of Iraq. Still not laughing.

EVERY AMERICAN...Did you forget that 9/11 occurred on Bushs watch? Oh, and it resulted in two wars. TWO! Again: Clinton 0/0 Bush 1/2

(Consider reading the post that I replied to and youll see why I said 6, not 8)

Nope. Im certainly NOT better off and youre the quintessential fool if you believe our country is better off after Bush.

YOU SAID: "To the foolish and shortsighted who revel at doing nothing but bashing President Bush

You are incessant cowards.

Possibly so. Thats one freedom we still have in this country...the right of descent. Although well now be phone tapped and email filtered for doing it. Thank you Bush.
Thank You Clinton | 10:51 p.m. Jan. 6, 2009
To the poster of : Re: Every American. Notice any terrorist attacks in your part of America lately? Didn't think so.

We didnt have ANY terrorist attacks while Clinton was in office. PLUS, we were still friends with our allies AND we didnt lose any of our freedoms.

Thank you Clinton!

Shame on Bush!

Hey, all of you name callers I have one for you... it doesn't matter who is in the White house! They are all crooks in one way or another.

I am sick of the press making Obama out to be the the political Savior for the US. He is crooked too. Obama was part of the Democrats that are to blame for the economic problems we are having today, but do you hear that in the press? No. and why not? Because if they publish the truth it makes them look stupid for putting Obama on the golden pedestal they hefted him to.
Oh, another note, at least we don't have to hear about Bush's sex life. Clinton certainly doesn't walk on water either!

man you folks who complain about the liberal media, its all their fault. Are Limbaugh,Hannity,Savage,Fox news, etc. Are they not part of the media? Why is it only the liberal media that's to blame for this absolute disaster of a president.I don't care who you are but if your in charge, well you better take the heat.Bush has failed us all.
And I would really like to know what the heck happened to the 750 billon $ of our tax money that went to bail out wall street? Can somebody tell me?anybody? Did it help, has the economy improved?

Wow, there's a lot of deceit on here:

Clinton didn't get us involved in any wars? What was Bosnia?

9/11 happened on Bush's watch? Well, if you want to get literal, yes. But how many years were those attacks in the making? Certainly not just during the 8 months that Bush was in office. How many times was Clinton offered Osama Bin Laden?

Bush manipulated the media? Are you serious? For just one small example, how about the whole Dan Rather episode? A letter from 20+ years ago with an envelope printed with Word2007? C'mon!

Bush suppressed scientific evidence of global warming? No, he merely questioned whether or not it is 100% man-made. Many of us battling one of the worst winters in history are questioning whether it even exists about now.

Republicans caused the financial turmoil we're in now? Who's had control of Congress the past two years? Go ask Barney Frank and Chris Dodd how much their campaigns took from Fannie and Freddie. They're supposed to be overseeing the banking and finance committees! The fox guarding the hen house!

Take off your blinders.
