This is the year we win a couple in the Tourney!!
Go Cougs!
If this team is going to be more than "one and done" in the post season, they really need to develop a killer instinct and to put away teams late in the second half.
We will find out more on Saturday when a tough Wake Forest team comes to town. Are they for real or only pretenders on the national scene?
The ultimate test for BYU, however, is to go to UNLV and win (or at least keep it close).
If they can't do that, no MWC Tourney Championship.
Forget all these what if posts, and other tests...stupid fans or anti-fans. Just go Baby!
To the Rebel troll that continuously attempts to remind us that UNLV has the best team in the MWC, can we finally say that BYU is playing the best basketball going into conference play?
The biggest thing to bring away from the last two games, as others have mentioned, is BYU needs to learn how to close the games out.
Keep it under a 40 point blowout and I think its a moral victory for BYU basketball.
As to the Wake Forrest game, I remember a game in the old Smith Field House when #2 St. Joesephs came to town (1966). Nemelka (spelling), Congdon, Roberts, Raymond, et al, put a whoopin on those boys, winning 100 - 80. Then went on to win the NIT while Utah went to the final four....also the year a little Texas Western (UTEP now) team coached by Don Haskins won the NCAA Championship. As Sinatra would say: It was a very good year.
Hopefully the BYU mens team can fare better then the womens team against top competition.
Keep it under a 40 point blowout and I think its a moral victory for BYU basketball."

Troll.
I've got an idea that if you decided to be agressive all the time there would be no stopping you. You have an amazing ability to push the ball up the court. It is fun to watch you play!
