One added note on support for both games. Ive followed both game series up till now on the Xbox 360. My guitar for Guitar Hero broke a month after the game came out. I spoke with their customer support and they essentially said if I couldnt return it to the store too bad(99% of stores wont take an opened game return and only exchange for a little while after purchase).

My guitar for Rock Band broke a few months in. I spoke with their customer support, they sent me a box to ship it back and sent me a replacement immediately. I had a new guitar in less than a week, didnt have to pay a cent, and they didnt worry about how long I had owned it.

You said, in reference to number of songs:

> Winner: "Guitar Hero." They have a far better quality of songs. "Rock Band 2" ... massive downloadable song list and the fact that you can carry your downloaded songs and 55 previous releases from "Rock Band" to "Rock Band 2" gives you a massive library of songs. I don't care how good the game is, if you've performed every song 30 times they start to get old and with "Rock Band 2" it takes a long time to run out. <

Huh?

1 + 1 does not equal 2 here.

Rock Band's biggest attraction is the giant number of song and better songs. How can you say Guitar Hero has better songs? No way

When they rated the quality of songs I think they were taking into consideration only the songs that come with each game by default.

When they did that summary speaking of massive song lists they were including the additional songs that can be downloaded if your on PS3 or Xbox.

Up until now Rock Band puts out more of those than Guitar Hero, plus all the previous Rock Band 1 downloadables work for Rock Band 2 not to mention you can add in all of Rock Band 1's songs too. But you have to pay for all that content, its not included free with the games.

"Guitar Hero World Tour" is a great party game, and for some consoles, rival video game "Rock Band" instruments work with "World Tour" and vice versa.
