Region 4 Domination | 12:14 a.m. Oct. 16, 2008
Over the past 3 years PG is 14-1 in region with 3 region championships. The Vikings are on a role. Get back to the turf boys.

Good Ol AF High
Af fan! | 7:18 a.m. Oct. 16, 2008
Poor af, their offense is the worst I have ever seen it!!! Good kids but without a halfway decent quarterback, they will continue to get whipped all over the field. Before the season they where saying that Jordan lusk was one of the best quarterbacks in high school! Are you kidding me this kid can't make any throw over 5 yards. Good luck next year af

way back when...early and PG was not ranked and they played Timpview and should have one...you better not over look this team..both offense and defense..and if they play bingham, PG's skilled players are to good for their DB's, just like Alta were early...

Coach Sampson has done a spectacular job with the football program. It is so nice to see the Vikings on top of the region each year. He's a class act.
Need to get better | 8:57 a.m. Oct. 16, 2008
PG offense line seemed to break down against a heavy blitz last night. They need to get better to beat Alta who brings the blitz every down. They need a passing game because Alta will stop their running game if they don't have the ability to pass.PG needs better balance
in order to have a chance to win it all.

We wish we had Sampson in Grantsville!
You can have him | 12:21 p.m. Oct. 16, 2008
The best thing coach Sampson has done is surround himself with coaches that are getting it done. Sanderson on offense and Brady calling the defense is what has made PG the team it is. Sampson works with the line and we've seen that there are still areas where they need to come together in order to get their passing game in better shape. O line, you've got the talent, get in touch with Coach Wong at Timpview. He's got a proven track record for developing linemen. Work hard and do well at state.
Also it's good to see Jake Horsley back on the field.

Jostein Lappegaard is the king.
Good Luck PG | 1:47 p.m. Oct. 16, 2008
In the playoffs. This team has the skill and talent to make a run. Dont be intimidated by the big boys from Gingham and Alta, you have more heart than them. Good luck vikes, bring it home!

Always good to see you post buddy. Congrats on another chance to at least share the title. Take care of Lehi and go get it on in the tournament.

go cavemen!! we will probably take state this year!!
5 mile club | 12:58 a.m. Oct. 17, 2008
PG good job on the shutout. Lehi won't put up any fight so they shouldn't be a problem. After that you get to play with the big boys. Most of us outside Utah County still don't know what to expect from you. Can you really hang with the giants? You have a great record but haven't really been tested yet (besides TV)(lets face it Riverton isn't that great). Guess you get to show us what you're made of soon. For now you're the darkhorse. Will we all be in for a big suprise or not? Time will tell...

pg has been tested are you kidding?!? im an af parent and our team is one of the worst in the region(besides lehi and maybe, maybe timp.) and still better then any fourth or third place team in any other region. Lone Peak is real good and Spanish is good too.. Besides bingham and alta. salt lake aint nothin
5 mile club | 3:42 p.m. Oct. 17, 2008
Not kidding at all. AF didn't you get beat by Highland and East (2 Salt Lake teams)? I clearly remember Bingham destroying LP and Alta crushing SF. I don't think you made a single good point in your comment. You can't beat any 3rd or 4th place team in another region. Let's compare. How many state trophies have been in Salt Lake in the past 15 years? OK now how many have been in Utah County? Until you can even hope to hang maybe you should think before you say Salt Lake aint nothin
uh | 4:44 p.m. Oct. 17, 2008
I think 5 mile was saying PG HASN'T been tested and I'd have to agree. I believe PG has the potential to surprise a lot of the northern schools simply because the schools going into state really haven't seen PG play this year. Film's one thing and a good way to prepare, game time is a little different. Should be fun. Be ready, be tough, go PG.
5 mile club | 11:24 p.m. Oct. 17, 2008
thank you uh. It's good to see that someone understood.
radar | 10:35 a.m. Oct. 18, 2008
you ask any team and with a 9-1 record....PG is good. htey are great. They have better skill guys than about any other team. If they can give the O time to throw-they will be unstoppable.
Goin as a darkhorse.....that is the best place to be.

Northern Utah | 5:51 p.m. Oct. 18, 2008
Not saying you're not good here. Prove to us what you've got.
re: Northern Utah re: Radar | 10:27 p.m. Oct. 18, 2008
PG is good. If their O line can get it together and their D continues to do what they do, then they could be great.
If they can get the D and O going like they did at SF they definitely will get the attention of the Northern schools. As far as publicity or what Northern schools know about PG it's basically a blackhole. The only comparisons out there are basically how teams have done against the same opponents. Which doesn't give you a very accurate idea of what a teams potential is.
I think PG will be ready to open some eyes come time for state.

SLC schools are over rated. Give all schools the same amount of students and lets see how you do. PG has enough students to be over the 5A by a bit, while most SLC schools have 1000 + more students. Plus you can't tell how good someone will be by scores. Bingham destroyed LP? What's funny is PG held Lone Peak to less yards and scored as many points. Two fumbles by the offense gave them 14 points early. Just you wait and see that the only reason SLC schools take home state titles is because they have a significant more amount of students.
5 Mile Club | 11:38 p.m. Oct. 20, 2008
Ha ha ok dude whatever you say. You scored as many points but were only up by 1 td. Those fumbles can kill you playing a SLC school so you know. Regardless of the reason when it's all said and done SLC schools are the ones taking home the titles. If were so overrated then why haven't you been at the state game lately? Just wondering...
Re: 5 Mile Club | 10:01 p.m. Oct. 21, 2008
Again, give all schools the number of students you have and it'll be closer. We'll see you in the tournament, and you'll see how overrated you are. You can talk, but you can't back it up without a fight.
PG PRIDE | 7:44 p.m. Oct. 27, 2008
let me say a little something, i go to PG and our football team works harder than any other football team out there; obviously because we've kicked trash this year. And our team is only going to get better. You other teams just wait till the juniors this year are seniors... we'll be unstoppable. They've lost one game in about seven years. So say what you want about not being challenged, or tested, but clearly we kick trash and we're one of the best teams out there.
AF | 3:16 p.m. Oct. 30, 2008
Jordan Lusk is the worst quarterback ever to play in highschool he costed Af there season
better luck next year
