Michele Beck, executive director for the Committee of Consumer Services, said Monday that she was "thrilled" with the rate increase that was granted Monday. Is she sick? A member of the committe getting thrilled over shooting thru a price increase.

Of course they are thrilled. All these big companies get anything they want, but it's us little people that end up paying for it. We pay their salaries, that's why they're thrilled. Makes me sick to see them get whatever they want, but if a little guy was to go and ask the government or anybody else for a increase to help us out, do you think we would get it? NO!

Craig - I believe Michelle was "thrilled" because the overall increase was so low. I've worked with her in the past and she is committed to keeping Buffett Power a.k.a. Rocky Mountain Power in line.

When Rocky Mountain keeps asking for $160M and $85M etc and only gets 3 -- that is reason to be thrilled.

When Rocky Mountain keeps asking for $160M any way they can get it, only giving them $3M is reason to be thrilled.

So how much money is RMP putting aside to help those who cannot afford to keep their power on in the winter? Or is it up to the rest of us to check the box on our power bill and contribute. Let's see now, how much does their CEO make? They forgot to put that in their request info.

I know several employees of RMP and they hate working for buffet, and his management, but they say there is a real need for upgrades in the infrastructure. We still are one of the lowest in the states. And besides all that look at all the dangers the employees have to work with. Tie Your dog up!
