super game!!! Go Braves!!!!
PV Guy | 5:04 a.m. Oct. 11, 2008
Maybe the Sky View fans who got on my case last week for predicting Bountiful would win get it now. As PV found out last year, Bountiful is tough, disciplined and very, very well coached. Anybody who takes these guys lightly will pay for it.

didnt see the the game but skyview must have been missing all there key players QB, RB, or maybe all of there offense cause that would be the only reason they would lose to bountiful the fans said the only reason they lose games is because one of there key players is missing and just wait till we play bountiful and MC youll see well I guess we saw

Great job last night Braves!! Congratulations.

Like I said at the start of the year, Sky View will finish in third place at best in Region 5.

With SV losing 2in a row, I wonder when the secret meetings amongst parents regarding the coach will happen, similar to basketball. The complaining started last week at Highland. I am sure that the booster club president can get it started, he usually has plenty to say at the Freshmen games. Too bad the kids can't just play and keep the parents away.

I can't wait for Sky View to lose there third in a row to the Mustangs! Can you say third seed?

SV cant make any excuses...they had all of their starters in!...we beat them fair and square.
Brave Fan | 2:44 p.m. Oct. 11, 2008
This was a hard fought game and fun to watch, but the best thing is that there are no excuses for SV. They had everyone there including their QB, they just got outplayed. Next week will be a great game, sorry I'll miss it.
Thanks for the comments. | 3:00 p.m. Oct. 11, 2008
I'm glad people are so excited about SV losing. It shows how much respect they have for the program. Anyone at that game last night knows Bountiful would hate to play SV again. And that player at the end knows he didn't really intercept the ball. Say what you want, I personally saw the ball fall straight to the ground. But that's something he has to live with.
to thanks for comments | 5:28 p.m. Oct. 11, 2008
yeah ok, they still beat you. interception or not they still end up beating you.

no one cares about sky view or their program
Anonymous | 5:59 p.m. Oct. 11, 2008
From what i saw Sky Views OFFENSE got out coached. Sky Views OFFENSE didn't even look like they had a game plan. Carlsen threw 4 interceptions and they had a total of 7 turnovers. You will never win a game playing like that. Sky Views defense however did play very tough for the circumstances that they were delt. Next week will be a dog fight between MC and SV. Can't wait to see it!
No one cares | 7:58 p.m. Oct. 11, 2008
No one cares about SV but they sure are excited they lost????? Sounds to me like they care. SV would love to play Bountiful again. They would rip them to pieces. Live it up while you can.
Big Deal.... | 9:37 p.m. Oct. 11, 2008
What has Sky View really done? They've had some success lately, but they haven't won anything except the right to make some cheap Region Championship sweaters. In this decade, Bountiful has state championships, MC has state championships, Timpview has state championships....Sky View hasn't won a thing. Bountiful outplayed them in every aspect of the game last night and it was nice to see Sky View's offense humbled. Deal with it.
BHS fans | 10:57 p.m. Oct. 11, 2008
Most BHS fans are awesome, but for the few (very few) knuckleheads that think it's OK to scream from the stands at the coaches, go away and leave the real fans to cheer. You people looked like idiots when the game was over. Coach Wall and his staff, win or lose, are great men and deserve nothing but respect and support.
The Reason | 1:02 p.m. Oct. 12, 2008
The Reason we are so happy about the SV loss isn't because we have respect for their program. It is because the Bobcat's and thier fans are quite arrogant when they are having their 3rd good season in 20 years! When the Bobcats win state (like Logan, Mtn. Crest, Timpview, and Bountiful) all have done in the last 10 years, then we might have respect for the program. Until then, you will just be little Sky View, who always ALMOST makes it.
MC | 5:43 p.m. Oct. 12, 2008
Cant wait for sky view to lose their 3rd in a row
To: The Reason | 9:47 p.m. Oct. 12, 2008
Sounds to me like it's Bountiful that's arrogant. Living on past credentials....shame, shame, shame. I bet you you were posting this much last week against WX too because their arrogant that they're not the complete bottom dwellers. Welcome to the present. Bountiful got away with one last Friday, and everyone at that game knows it wouldn't happen again.
one and done? | 11:50 p.m. Oct. 12, 2008
If Sky View loses to MC they will open up at East! What if there is a three way tie with SV, MC and Bountiful? Does it come down to a coin toss?
Re: one and done? | 7:39 a.m. Oct. 13, 2008
If that does take place where SV happens to pull and upset and beat MC, but the likelyhood of it happening not a chance. They still have two games left in region play but if they all three tie there would be a coin toss for 1st-3rd place. However, I see all four teams from this region advancing to the next round. MC will beat any 5th seed, Bountiful will take care of any 4th seed and SV will beat east and Bonneville will beat Mountain View. Toughest region top to bottom.

Anyone who actually believes that Bountiful "got away with one" last Friday is completely up in the night.

Bountiful shut down Sky View's (supposedly unstoppable) offense for pretty much the entire game. For anyone who can't acknowledge this, let me remind you of the MULTIPLE turnovers and knockdown passes Bountiful forced. Besides that, Bountiful came out and just hit Sky View in the mouth...they outhit them on defense and ran down their throat on offense.

After hearing all of Sky View's pathetic whining and justification in the face of the loss, I've decided that Sky View is like the high school version of BYU: overrated. You want everyone to think you're great because you've won some games over the past few seasons when in reality you've never won anything that's actually relevant (i.e., State Championship) and nevertheless you all act like you're the kings of the football world. Newsflash Sky View....you're not! If you're such an awesome team then go out and do Bountiful a favor and beat MC. Bountiful did what they had to do stay in the hunt for a #1 seed...now it's your turn...let's see what all that talk can do for you.
Jeff | 9:40 a.m. Oct. 13, 2008
re: small town,

You are right it's time for all the talking to stop and for teams to step up. This is Sky View's chance to walk the walk but for themselves not for Bountiful. Why would they want to do Bountiful a favor? If they win Wednesday it's anyones guess who gets the number one seed.
SV | 10:45 a.m. Oct. 13, 2008
I have never seen them play, but their parents and fans are all over these boards. With the exception of Layton, they talk the most trash on these boards. I saw Bountiful get hammered by LP and the fans were pretty polite and didn't say much. I think they were tired of hearing from SV fan about how good they are etc. They finally decided to talk back. I don't know anything about Mountain Crest, but I hope they put a beat down on you as well. lol
Bad third seed.. | 12:15 p.m. Oct. 13, 2008
open at East, then at TIMPVIEW week 2...

yeah, good bye.

BYU? How did they get thrown into this comparison--National Champions, WAC champions for years and now Mtn. West champions, Heisman & Outland trophy producers. Not one thing like Sky View High School! What kind of glasses are you wearing?

hey guess what i am that kid and i did catch that ball and i will sleep just fine
Anonymous | 10:24 a.m. Oct. 15, 2008
To the person who was talking about seedings you were correct about the first place playing a 5th seed and 3rd seed playing a 2nd seed (East) but the 2nd seed from region 5 will be playing the 3rd seed from region 6 not 4th seed.
