We all appreciate you posting on this message since there was not even a mention
of your sorry team (Sorry = bi-polar, completely dominant at home, but will have
two road losses by season's end...Oct 16, and some time in November). And
by the way, UNM's mad they lost to BYU last year. That anger will magically
turn into a win for them.

What makes you think Wyoming is going to score 37 on the Utes? They might not
score 37 points the rest of the season combined. I don't see Utah only
scoring 13 on the Cowboys, not when their lowest point total is 25 against
Michigan. Even if they do only score 13 it won't matter because Wyoming
couldn't score 13 points against a high school team. I think this one is
another 40 or 50 point win for the Utes.
As much as I would love to also say the Team Down South will lose I don't think I can since the game is in Provo and the Lobos are playing without their starting quarterback. I think that the Kittens win this one 28-17 but don't be surprised if the Lobos sneak in and steal this one.

Utah will continue to prove to the nation that they know how to win ball games.
The differenece between the teams of the 90s and the tems of the 00s is that the
players and fans expect Utah to win every game. That's why Utah beat
Michigan and against Oregon State last week with some last minute heroics. Last
week's win wouldn't have happened in the 1990s.
Now, even in horrible playing conditions, which is welcomed by the cowpokes as statistically this improves their chances of hanging close, the Utes will prevail. Maybe a shutout, maybe score a few points by the defense, or the defense might set a record for forced turnovers. Either way, the Utes will show in one way or another that they can win any given week no matter the circumstances.

BYU will win at home, probably by 30 or so, but they have got to figure out how to put together a good game on the road or else they will lose on the 16th and possibly in November (although you have to throw everything out for the BYU-Utah game, so who knows).

The reason there is a BCS is because of BYU. The college football God's
decided after 1984 there would be no more teams knocking off a 6-6 team in a
game played before Christmas winning a national championship. Right or wrong
that's life. Do championships won in the "Leather Helmet Era"
really count. If so Army and Navy rock!!

Last I checked this was an article about Utah.
My main worry would be Johnson getting hurt this game. He hasn't held up well in the past, and I expect Wyoming to lose but not without throwing a few haymaker blitzes at Utah first.

given the rules used when byu beat bo diddle tech to win the "national
championship" if all div I teams lose a game the winner of the national
championship today would be the div II team that finishes undefeated. byu
beating mich (a 6-6 team) in the 84 holiday bowl would have been rated no higher
then utah beating #25 pitt in the more highly touted fiesta bowl

of a very poor 6 and 5 Michigan team and meager $700K payout. Oh, and by the

I don't believe "BYU rocks and Utah is Stupid" is actually a
Cougar. He/she is either an immature fourth grader or just someone trying to
stir up a fight. My advise to both "BYU rocks and Utah is stupid" and
"BYU sucks Utah rocks"--GROW UP!!!

Let's face it...Utah stinks. BYU would eat them for lunch any time, any
place. It's a shame we can't play you today so we could beat you
fools into the ground. It's only a matter of time before the Utes get
crushed at home by the mighty Cougars. Max Hall is gonna rip you to pieces. We
know you're jealous because you won't be on the BCS train this year,
but keep talking about how great your team is...whatever makes you feel better

I'm in Utah for 8 months working for my company but I'm amazed by how
strange you Utah folk treat each other. Go to our official University of New
Mexico athletic department website and read our main article. In that article
you'll read the following quotes:
"there is a core of respect and envy for the Cougars. BYU is the standard to chase for all MWC teams." We also think we also think you Utah Utes have a good team this year.
You guys should stop fighting an be thankfuly you have good teams in your state (it's a little tougher to be so proud when you live in New Mexico).

Utes will hold the Pokes to 10 points or less and win by 7-10 points.
BYU will hold UNM to 10 points or less and win by 17-20.

actually im almost positive the utes going to a bcs bowl was bigger than
byu's national championship victory. who remembers that game except for byu
fans? well maybe others remember the controversy of byu playing a mediocre
michigan team. but utah on the on the other hand will go down in history as
being the first mid major to crack the bcs and win convincingly. everyone still
remember utah the original bcs busters. but that was then this is now.

Utah is having a good run, BYU slightly better this year, but anything can
happen when the meet in November. They will both be undefeated and it will be a
showdown.

Utah is leading 27-0 at Wyoming --same score as BYU-WYO game earlier.
Utah probably will play 3rd, 4th stringers if they score first in second half --thus, will probably win as much as 44-0 like BYU.
Look good so far for 7-0 record.

So much for uteys using Michigan for a comparison stick for measuring qaulity of
schedule. Michigan just handed University of Toledo an oppurtunity to possibly
finish their season with a .500 season. Univ of Toledo is the 1st Mid American
team to beat Michigan............ever !!!

calling for a review of the Wyo touchdown that was so clearly out of bounds.

Worst injuries were splinters and broken ear drums. Got anymore meaningful questions??? And I'll visit any site I want.

I am a BYU fan and I actually would have to agree with you. Huge Cougar fan, way
supportive of our team and our normal fans, but definitely not our immature,
idiot fans, which unfortunately do exist and we have to deal with. In fact, I
even like some of the players on Utah's team, like Louie Sakoda. I've
seen him in interviews and he actually seems like a pretty chill guy. I also
like Corbin Louks, he's athletic and talented. I'm not the hugest
Brian Johnson fan, and I'm definitely not a Darrel Mack or Brent Casteel
fan. Colt Sampson is a cool guy, I was in one of his weight training classes in
high school, and I played on the same HS team with Paul Kruger. So the players,
depending on who they are, aren't so bad. Most Ute fans are actually not
that bad either, a lot of the are really fun actually, although there are a
select group that I don't care for. As far as the lame fans of both teams,
we pretty much just have to deal with them.
