This is just what we need... | 6:29 a.m. Oct. 10, 2008
one more group of elitist snobs from the New York/New Jersey area imposing their will on how WE use OUR land.

There are no wolves Manhattan. They were exterminated centuries ago, but because of them we have to have wolves.

They have developed and used their land, but because of them we cannot develop and use ours. We can't even access it. We already have more wilderness in this country than these elitists could hike over in three lifetimes. NO MORE WILDERNESS!

It's time for a citizens revolt against our overlord, oppressors; the SUWA, the Sierra Club and all other environmental extremist organizations.

It's time for the majority to rule. They have the money, but we have the numbers. Let's get after them!!!

If SUWA and the other groups listed in this story actually spent some money on the environment they might do some good.
It doesn't surprise me that they are paying more lawyers. If you look at their tax records you'll see that is where almost all of their expenses are. If I were a donor, I'd find someplace better to send my money.

It's time for citizen to revolt against our overlord, oppressors; President Bush and his cronies who will give our land away to the highest bidder. Pollute it, dig it up, drill it and send it off to overseas interests.

NRDC is a valuable addition to the coalition's leadership. During my land management career I saw them time after time defending good management against interference by politicians who don't give a hoot about protecting canyon country.

I agree with the first few comments. The real environmentalists are those farmers and ranchers working the land.
