2013, give me a break. They continue to raise the fares by 25 cents every quarter and now they are pulling the "Poor us" card. Give me a break. This is just another example of why the government should get out of our lives. We need more of the "Spirit of '76" in our lives. Revolt against tyranny in all its forms!

Traffic on Lehi's already congested Main Street won't be all jammed up (100 empty trains a day X 3 minutes per train) for a while longer. I'm not sure how bad that is.

We pass a sales tax hike and now it gets pushed back. It's time to raise ridership fees to make up the difference. Quit using our revenues to subsidize riders!

Let's at least accelerate the schedule so that front runner is built to the Murray station as fast as possible so that there is a station in the center of the Salt Lake Valley with very good Trax connections.

Are you kidding? Ok let's let the government go away and we'll let it be dog eat dog out there. No road improvements, no water, no sewer, no controls on building/development, no law enforcement, no fire department, no schools, nothing. Ya that's the kind of world I want to live in. Don't you? If it is, go live in so far off place where no civilization exists. Think of the consequences before you open your mouth and preach against "tyranny".
Transportation is something we all deal with. We should be able to choose from several options and not be confined to choose a car for mobility.
Just because you don't use transit, doesn't mean it doesn't provide choice and benefits to the community at large. So does that mean if I don't use roads, we should do away with government funding for them? I think not.

I think the writer was trying to make the point that it is kind of silly to keep raising the rates and then push back the date for a needed service. Also, What is the comment about Lehi main street about. The Front Runner will not even come near the main street in Lehi. It will run along the Union Pacific line that parallels the I-15. Look at a map of the proposed line before making ignorant comments.
