I moved here from California last year thinking I got away from all this sort of crap (even though it happens everywhere). This week my car was broken into,(middle of the day) and my laptop was stolen in my own covered parking space(I know, I shouldnt have had my laptop in my car) BUT it doesnt stop anyone from doing what they have to do like in this situation. During the holidays especially, keep an eye out for others, lock your doors while youre driving, try to keep the windows rolled up and dont leave anything valuable in your car! Even if you live in a nice neighborhood or are driving down a known street, crap happens!
