I would bet if there was a Jeffs or a Jones,or a Justice on the team the stats would be sent to your paper. Our boys play there guts out every friday just like the rest of the teams. Come on coaches you do have other players doing something that needs recognition..Don't you Think?

broadcast Sky View's football games. You do have Kyler Carlsen's stats correct....however, he has missed the
last two games due to an injury. So he has played in just 5 games not 6 as your stats indicate. I think that he will play against Bountiful this Friday.

Emery fan is right. I grew up in a small town where people only cared about a few names. I think all people should be recognized for their stats

Yes, Johnson has completed 54% of his passes for the year and has done a great job. I will agree that he has his worst game of the year by far against Richfield and that carried over to the first quarter of Millard but then he settled down and racked up a lot of yardage. And by the way he has only thrown three picks on the year compared to 12 touchdown. I would take a 4-1 ratio for a QB anyday so where do you get off saying they are trying to promote him, stats are stats and you should grow up.

in a very good 5A Idaho conference...called SIC ..southern Idaho Conference..just go to the all state team for stats and compare..no comparison in depth or talent , speed , speed and more speed. and the qbs mentioned would be sitting the bench if all they do is overthrow or mimic ducks!

Read the article, your stats are there. Be glad there is still a Jones, Jeffs, and Justice involved in the program. People who love kids and are willing to put their name on the line for them.

I think that is a great point. It takes a whole team to make a team. There are several great performances on a team in a game. It should not evolve down to a few names. If something, anything, is mentioned it should be any one of the team in there effort to succeed for the team.

Just a few observations on 6 of the top 10 qb's we never hear about.
Soter - very good stats - comp % a little low.
Hart - very good stats.
Cole - very good stats - also rushes for over 100 yds - nice
Kuresa - great comp % - not enough passes - system?
Hamblin - terrible comp %
Harris - good stats.
Manning - 3a
Lewis - just chuck it & let Wilson go get it.
Olsen - system - let him free.
Romero - great team - gets bailed out.
