happened if he had been driving a "gas-guzzling" SUV or truck. Just hit the stupid deer and let the insurance co. fix the vehicle. There is a price to be paid for being "green." I like my kids driving a tank for safety reasons. Environmentalists eat my carbon footprint!

Being green is one thing. Comment on someone losing someone because of the type of car is ignorance. Even in an suv you aren't completely safe. Have a heart even if you don't care about the earth. I hope when someone that you love dies no one blames it on them. A loss is a loss.

Even in an SUV you're not safe in an accident. It still could kill you. Maybe instead of promoting political views it would be respectful to think of the people that lost someone.
