The solution to the war on terror, including the Taliban, is to "first take the beam out of our own eye, then shall we see clearly to take the speck out of our brother's eye." That is Jesus' advise.
The radical Islamists want God's word to govern their nations. The United States and its people do not yet want that for our nation. There will be peace when we want God's ways. Then we will be going in the same direction instead of opposing. It will be easy to bring both in line with the word of God as it is written with simple understanding.
The primary message of the Qur'an is to follow the whole Bible. That is also what Jesus said, "live by EVERY word out of the mouth of God." There is correction due on all sides; and that is the Gospel: repent and be saved according to the word of God.
We have a living God to help us decide leaders through prayer. Even now, in this election period, with the multitude of prayers for peace, God can bring into view a leader to unify the people of God under the direction of His prophets.
