Pathetic CEOs who should be stripped of every penny they earned and thrown into prison. Followed quickly by many of our self-serving politicians who likewise line their own pockets. Have we not learned enough already??? Throw the bums out - on both sides of the aisle. Surely we can't do any worse than we have been doing with the current crop.
Too Late | 11:27 a.m. Oct. 7, 2008
Isn't it a little late to be having this meeting? It seems as though the purpose of this meeting was to slap the wrist of Richard Fuld, but nothing more. I'm sure we all love to see executives like Fuld come under fire...but it's after the fact. It does no good. His company has already tanked, so you can't fine the company. They aren't sending him to jail. So, I'm curious to know why the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee even bothered to have this meeting in the first place. It's too late!

Way to go, government! Way to try and look like you're doing some good by simply slapping Fuld on the wrist. Why don't you do something like take some of HIS money to help pay for this $700 billion tax hike...er, bailout plan.
Fannie & Freddie | 11:34 a.m. Oct. 7, 2008
Why in the would would Fannie and Freddie not be investigated?????? The companies the government bail out won't be investigated and those that the government don't bail out will?????

Mossback please dont' say that the CEO earned the money. That legitimizes their claim to keep the money they have been paid. I think instead you should have said " PATHETIC CEOS SHOULD BE STRIPPED OF EVERY PENNY THEY WERE UNDESERVEDABLY PAID"

Fannie and Freddy will not be investigated while the Demos are in charge because they are all tied to it and supported Fannie and Freddie at their hearings two years ago. If they investigate Lehman, hold Fannie and Freddy accountable.
