You neglected to list a BIG one coming out (10/7/08): "The Beverly Hillbillies: The official Second Season". It's a 5 disc box set.

Why is this big? Because as most know that show was a huge hit and has be in re-runs for decades since the early 1970's... a show that ran for 10 or 11 years on CBS. And prior to now there have been NO complete season release treatments of this hit show, just collections of "Best of" episodes.

But where is Season 1 you ask? It's never been released and may never be. From what I've read this is due to that season's episodes being tied up in rights issues. This is why the collection is starting with Season 2.

I and I'm sure MANY other fans of this show have been waiting for this day for years now (ever since they've started releasing these DVD box sets of TV shows). Let's just hope CBS who is famous for editing it's releases and altering music in them doesn't butcher this collection.

I wonder if the Smothers Brothers - who I loved in the 60's - will seem just as funny now or if it will seem old and stupid. It'll be interesting ...

I don't know if our comments have to be about My Three Sons or not. Mine isn't but here it goes. I would like to know if you can get other shows from the 50's and 60's like Amos and Andy and Charley Chan? Please let me know. Thank you.
