I'm glad someone is listening. I was abused as a child and sent by Social Workers and the Family Court to a "place of safety" and abused there as well. Then they put me into a psychiatric hospital - I was only 13, still as a "place of safety" and was abused there as well, although it was not as bad as the "home". The other patients looked after me a bit. All my life has been abuse, abuse and more abuse. I'm still here though - I wanted to kill myself several times but I didn't and an glad I didn't. I just got my records of when I was a child. The local authorities tried to cover it all up. They closed down the home they put me in, because it was being run by pedophiles. They were sent to prison. No-one cared about me and they still don't - I am a thorn in their side because I survived and didn't get into trouble with the police, become an addict or a prostitute, so they can't dump the blame on me for what they did. They ought to own up, and apologise to me.
