Did utah win the national title tonight the way their crowd stormed the field. Did they know they were picked to win. good win next time ute fans stay in the stands and cheer so id doesnt look like you were th underdog winning the game., Although oregon did blow the game, and clearly looked like the better team.

please don't start that, had he not been tackled, he could have gotten his hands on the ball as he was turning around when he got hit. That being said, what an awesome game, looks like we wiped the smiles off the OSU coach and qb eh? Never underestimate louie or heart. I thought they were done, seeing as the offense was horrible in the second half, but what a big bunch of plays. Call it bad clock management or whatever you want, but they still made the plays! Go Utes!

Great win utah!!! I am happier than anyone. However, if Utah plays like that against BYU they will get beat by 30. Oregon State owned them but We will take the win... GO UTES!!!!!!!!!! A win is a win!

Andy Ludwig is going to cost us a BCS game.
His play-calling was horrible. He finally worked his way out of his stupor in the last two minutes and opened up the offense. Thank goodness!!
The Bryan Johnson running plays in the first half were awful. Come on Ludwig - an injury to Bryan is the last thing we need!!

Uncatchable ball in endzone. Lucky win for Utah. However, the way Oregon St. way mismanaged the clock on their last drive was sick. What were they thinking. Utah deserved that win over that alone. They better play better than they did tonight when they play BYU.

Incredible finish! Love seeing the MWC continue to beat Pac-10 teams!! (Would love to see BYU or Utah play USC!!!) BCS system is a joke, we need wins like this to do away with the current system (...someday). Would love to see BYU & UofU play w/ no loses last game of the year -- both would likely be in the top 10 the way things are going. Amazing!

#15 sure did a number on those beavs at home! We had a similar game with a pac 10 foe, only it was on the road and we were already ahead and merely had to just keep the one point lead to finish it off. we dropped 3 spots...so just how far should these crimson utes drop this sunday???

No matter how you slice it, that was one sweet win! Utah showed alot of heart at the end, showed that they refuse to lose and they are a team on the rise. Utah also has the schedule in their favor with TCU & BYU at home. This is going to be exciting!

Utah may not deserve to be in the top 20, but BYU certainly doesn't belong in the top 10. Not having beaten a ranked team - or even a winning team - hurts their credibility.
Both teams are winning the games they have to win but neither has really been tested yet - especially BYU, whose toughest road game was a 1 point, controversial win, against a now 0-5 UW.

I didn't see the two point conversion try...only listened to it on radio. But "uncatchable" is an extremely subjective opinion for those not on the field. A much easier call--and less subjective usually---is clear cut defensive interference.
Most refs will almost always make that call in that situation, just like most refs will call "facemask" when a defender's hand is in the vicinity of the mask--even if it's not grabbed (remember, no more 5 yarders anymore---only 15 yards and an automatic first down---something OSU benefited from on their touchdown series just before on what was a stopped 3rd down conversion).
So, I'm guessing "Bail Out" is either an OSU fan or BYU fan. I'm also guessing that if he's the latter, he's already forgot about the Washington game.
Anyway, yours and mine opinions don't matter.

I do think they ought to put a 30 second rule that states that if a flag is not thrown before 30 seconds after the penalty, it should not count.
I really thought as long as it took the flag to get there, it was a fake flag thrown out of the stands.

It was obvious pass interference. Of course it is uncatchable if you got somebody all over your back holding you. Good call, missed by the ref that was there. Go UTES!!!!!.. Need to pick it up though, that level wont do it against BYU or TCU!!! Go UTES!!!!!!!!

As a BYU fan I must admit, I was pretty bummed when it looked like you were going to blow this one. It's good for you and good for us that Johnson got his act together in the end after pretty much stinking the place up the rest of the night.
Without Louie you'd have been in a world of hurt. That guy can kick! Way to keep your end of the holy war bargain up Utes!

So when there is a questionable call, even though it was clearly the RIGHT call in the NCAA rule book, by byu to seal the win against UW. Utah gets a BAIL OUT PI call, which was subjective, late and from a referee across the field, it was the RIGHT call obviously! ute fans are worse flip floppers than a dirty democrate...

I didn't see the game, so I don't know about the officiating...but in the end, a win is a win. One team gets enough done, the other one doesn't.
So congratulations, Utes. Any time the MWC wins against a BCS conference, it's good. One step closer to that epic battle of unbeatens at the end of the year. And then it's Cougars all the way. :)

As bad as Johnson played in the middle of the game, he redeemed hiself on the last two drives. Ludwig & Johnson share equal blame for the inconsistent play of the offense.

Great kick Louie, you saved us. Having said that, This is not the year for my utes. I had high expectations for Brian Johnson this year but he isnt to the level I hoped. An interception and lost fumble (not to mention multiple sacks) against a mediocre at best OSU secondary isnt what I was hoping to see. Anyways, Good luck the rest of the way Utes, Cant wait till the Holy War! (yes I am a ute fan)

Come on people...has everyone already forgotten that this Oregon St. team upset #1 USC last week. A few of you are already discounting this Ute team win. This was a quality win for Utah doing what USC couldn't last week by putting the game away at the end. The difference between good team and great teams are making plays to win the game, (e.g. Byu v. Washington and now Utah vs. Oregon St.) Additionaly, this was an exciting game, the fans have every right to storm the field when a finish is that emotional. That is what makes college sports so great.

Exciting win! Great defense! VERY erratic offense.
Johnson and the entire Utah offense looked terrible most of the 2nd half, then they somehow put that last touchdown drive together. Still not sure whether that was simply luck or skill, but, two weeks in a row, the Utes have managed to squeak out wins.
Sakoda is money.

justafan, that is just a plain stupid comment. Not a top twenty team? Utah just beat a team that dominated USC. Over all it wasn't pretty, but the drive to tie it up was beautiful. I am really impressed by the grit the Utes showed tonight. Looking forward to a great match up on Nov 22. Go UTAH!

Sure, the look on Sakoda’s face after the bulls-eye kick was SO good to see! (was there really ever a doubt but what it would go right down the middle of the goal posts??) But we can’t forget the guy that got us to that point either…QB Brian Johnson. Two pressure-packed drives perfectly executed! But I gotta believe the best expressions of all were those of disbelief emanating from the mighty PAC-10 representatives (not to mention their fans) in the Ute stadium tonight. Know wutta meen, guys?
