Huntsman speech bumped from Tuesday line-up

Almost 2 years of political campaigning and 2 months to go. Really who has benefited by all of this crap? I'll tell you who THE MEDIA. I'm so sick of this media controlled society I can't see straight. GREED, GREED, GREED. MONEY, MONEY, MONEY. 24/7 so-called experts telling us what, when and how to do everything. Advertisers dumping BILLIONS into these networks, driving up our cost of living, while over paying a bunch of ego driven jerks to trash our very way of life. ENOUGH, lets out every incumbent for political office and send these biased networks packing too. Just tune them out.

I did not read this story,because I don't care if Huntsman speaks at the convention or not. I have a real concern about our community. I know that we had a surplus of money at one time for education and teachers, where is that money? Also, every where I turn there is road construction, but why aren't the real roads being repaired? For instance, the road to Granger High School, so that the kids can actually enter the school without dropping off the road and rocks flying everywhere? Please state of Utah representatives, get your priorities straight come home where you belong and fix our state. That is why we are paying you.

Prince Jon's not speaking? Good. What was he going to say anyway? "We need to put the little people on bicycles and public transportation, in condensed community housing. We need to shut down our factories and our use of fossil fuels because of global warming. I propose we turn off our lights one night a week. I'm against offshore drilling and nuclear power. I'm for a nationalized healthcare program for the little people. We need to expand funding for public education. See my adopted children? I enjoy daily positive stories about me in the Deseret News. Blah, blah, blah."

McCain got Jons money and then drops him cold, typical. Both Mitt and Jon must be experiencing the most hardest times of humility- not Even among the big thieves there are no loyalties. Remember folks the world goes around because of the little mites not the greedy selfish giants

Funny how Utah is always dissed by the GOP, yet we always come back for more. Not me, I'm done. After McCain chose affirmative action Palin over Romeny was the last straw. I would understand if he chose Condaleza Rice or Joe Liberman over Mitt, but Sarah Palin as Commander in Chief? Give me a break.

Look at where Harry Reid got within the ranks of the Democratic party. Utah and the LDS might be much better off as the conservative wing of the Democratic party. The GOP? Forget about it, it's controlled by the Southern and MidWest Evangelicals.

Now if they would just drop both conventions we would be making progress. There is absolutly nothing desided at these conventions anymore. Just a waste of time and money so a few can tell us how great they are.

Utah Republicans are the Rodney Dangerfields of the GOP.

It seems that politics is just a game for self centered, egotistical power hungry individuals who want to be seen and heard to promote their own agenda. I am not remotely impressed.

This is the political university where Huntsman and his political kind learn how to treat the little people. When they are on the being used for political purposes side it becomes the best on the job training for how to treat the little people under you. You tell them what they want to hear until you achieve your objective and then you discard them like a used rag. They also did it to Swartzanegger. And they are in the process of doing it to Palin as we speak. They are literally riding in on her integrity because they have none of their own. And mark my words when she has served her purpose she will also be discarded.

But the fact remains that the GOP must have the conservative vote to win. The problem is that the neoconservatives have crapped on, demonized, ignored, trivialized, rebuked, marginalized, and distanced themselves from conservatives since Ronald Reagan. But it is now election time again and they need them to win.

It is time for this people to break free from the battered citizen syndrome and vote for none of the above or write in Ron Paul. Otherwise get ready for your next beating.

Let me guess... the whole hurricane was planted by Evangelicals so that the GOP Convention would keep Utah Republicans off the podium.

Ya know, some of these articles and posts make me laugh.

The convention was adjusted because of the storm down south. Sometimes you have to make deletions.

Maybe, some of you are still grumbling over Hurricane Sarah.

I find it so funny that I am concerned about our roads being fixed and every one in this blog just decided to make it about mitt, sarah, mccain etc. once again, Come on lets start putting our heads together for some substance. Education, roads being fixed in front of schools, salaries, Help I'm sinking here!

All I want is to have the roads fixed in front of Granger High school. Where is our surplus of money? For teacher salaries, our kids etc.? And this blog becomes a fest for mitt, sarah and mccain and the convention. Huntsman come back to Utah, and pay attention to us little people that put you in office. I have a hard time with the limos and the house and the expensive cars that by the way, I heard that you, and the attorney general etc, ate at a restaurant and valeted your cars and didn't tip the valet. Shame on you!

Utah has the reputation of being the reddest of the red states (Rush Limbaugh's #1 radio audience).
A bit too extreme for any political party.

Straighten up Utah and head towards the center - otherwise you'll remain a laughing stock.

Gov, its about time you wake up and realize that you are only governor because of your father......grow some and quit pandering to McCain, behind your back he laughs all the way to the bank!...you look moronically foolish.
