Ohio? | 6:18 a.m. Aug. 28, 2008
Ohio? Key state. That is why. But the lack of charisma by the repubs will hurt them in the long run. Obama is getting people into a football stadium, while McCain will probably announce it in a country club restaurant.

That is the difference. One is inviting people to join and make America greater, the other is telling people who their leaders will be. One is accused of being too good of an orator, the other can't remember what he said where.

No wonder I can't wait to vote for Obama.
If he picks Lieberman . . . | 7:35 a.m. Aug. 28, 2008
. . . McCain will at least have someone to whisper answers in his ear when he has a "senior" moment.

If you want to hear some straight talk, go find you a bunch of rednecks. No politically correct, limp-wristed wimps in this bunch. No stilted semantics or pseudo-intellectual diatribes about the war, gas prices or current politics. They just call 'em like they see 'em. They chop the log and let the pieces fly where they may and whoever happens to be standing in the way is likely to get a mouth full of wood chips. No word-mincing, no high-flying Harvard vernaculars, just plain words from just plain people. I just wish we had a genuine redneck running for president. It would be wonderful to have just one presidential candidate who didn't try to play both ends against the middle who would come out and say what they really mean. A redneck wouldn't take any lip off little tin dictators like Hugo Chavez and would stand toe to toe with the likes of Putin and Ahmadimijad and hunt down al-Queda to the last man whatever it took. A redneck would put America first and not be concerned what the rest of the world thought about it.

McCain in 2008.

Florida is the key State here.

Mark my wrods! It's 8:04 AM, Thursday Morning, 28 August 2008. You heard it from me.

The pick is Kay Bailey Hutchison.
Hope he picks Mitt | 8:02 a.m. Aug. 28, 2008
A redneck would put America first and not be concerned what the rest of the world thought about it.

A redneck would protect our gun rights and see that laws were passed to make sure child molesters get what they deserve.

He'd build up our military in manpower and technology because he realizes that a strong America is safer America.

A redneck would protect the Constitution and have the guts to stand up to the people who want to take God out of public life in America.

A redneck would wear an American flag pin and hold his hand over his heart when the national anthem was played or the Pledge of Allegiance was recited.

He would drill in ANWR, off the coast and everywhere else we need to drill to end our dependence on foreign oil.

A redneck would make sure that if someone fathers a child that he is forced to support it and respect family values.

Vote for McCain in 2008 folks, we need more rednecks in Washington DC

Brother Chuck, I couldn't have expressed it better--
you do have a way with words. God bless the rubes, rednecks, yokels and other common folk who made America great and continue to be its backbone. Down with the pseudo-intellectuals who think the sun rises and sets, dependent upon their opinions and whims. What a bunch of lunkheads! Thanks, Chuck. Keep posting.
Happy Birthday McCain | 9:56 a.m. Aug. 28, 2008
Do you think this can't happen in America? Take another look, my friend.

There is a quote by an American socialist named Norman Thomas that speaks volumes. Thomas was a six-time US Presidential candidate for the Socialist Party of America. He said, "The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism, but under the name of liberalism, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program until one day America will be a socialist nation without ever knowing how it happened."

Scary.

THIS IS WHY WE ALL NEED TO VOTE FOR VP MITT and also McCain in 2008

President McCain wrote the Dead Sea scrolls and in them are the 2008 VP pick on his Birthday, oh yes, there is a connection between the Dead Sea scrolls and the Book of Mormon as well. Mitt will be the VP pick it said in both books to. Vote 4 both.

"GIT-R-DONE!"

I saw this on a shirt and thought it was hilarious. "You know your getting older when your pants start fitting to tight around your armpits!"

Now he says he hasn't made the decision.

Is he confused about this too?!
It's decided | 6:26 p.m. Aug. 28, 2008
McCain gives Romney the thumb in the eye. It's Pawlenty -- which is probably a pretty good choice -- NOT Romney.

That headline should be changed to "McCain Reportedly Ready to Name VP Pick in Ohio Tomorrow ... if He Can Get Anyone to Show Up at His Rally".
