Looks like they are trying to copy the Bourne movies. The Bourne movies are great but I think this is a little overkill here.

Looks like you just took what the preview said and twisted it into an insult. In any case, I didn't find the movie anywhere near as deplorable as the critic. Did it say he was from Texas (Pierce)? I must have missed that line, sounded more like a deep southern accent. Also, Cheadle played his role with enough conviction without overkilling it. the girlfriend subplot was as drawn out as it had to be to throw doubt in Samir keeping his cover. Great movie? No, but deffinatley watchable. Worth a rental and better then most movies out now.
