I thought another article said that Brett Denney took over Ian Dulan's starting position, but Denney's not even on the list of defensive lineman.

Brett Denney, did you just forget about him or what? I don't know how he is not listed in the starting rotation?

2 problems for me:
1-as already noted, you left off the starting RE-Brett Denney
2-"But the O-line will have to improve on pass protection. The Cougars gave up 20 sacks last season." Those 20 sacks were the 2nd fewest given up by a BYU OL in modern history.

Need help at punter | 9:36 a.m. Aug. 24, 2008
Not confident that BYU's punter is adequate. As I recall, there were inconsistent punts last year. Hope that improves (can't get worse).
Who spell checks for you? | 1:12 p.m. Aug. 24, 2008
The freshman at D end, which is listed as linebacker on byucougars.com is Matt Putnam, not Putman...should be a great player
Wide Receiver List | 4:56 p.m. Aug. 24, 2008
You only mentioned three wide receivers, but I think O'Neil Chambers will be the biggest surprise of the year at WR and will be one of the top 4 WRs this year, and likely the top kick returner. He is mentioned all the time for practice highlights.

Let's hope all games are warm and sunny. Rich does not play so well when the weather is bad.
Last Chance to See Unga | 10:04 p.m. Aug. 24, 2008
Enjoy Unga this season while you can and enjoy watching the future of the Cougar backfield in Diluigi. I predict Unga will declare early after this season. He's only a sophomore in eligibility due to a redshirt season he will have had the required 3 years beyond hs. And he is just too good. He is strong and fast and after racking up 2,000 all-purpose yards this season I think he will declare and be a 2nd round draft pick. But Diluigi, Latu and Tonga will fill in nicely as BYU fields a team every bit as good if not better in 2009.

WHAT are you talking about? He's not leaving early. If he was that good you would hear about him constantly in the media and NFL scouts would always publish hype surrounding him. The NFL is ridiculous about Running Backs, and unless he significantly surpasses what he did last year, or beats Luke Staley's record, (which he is fully capable of doing, I'm not saying he won't), you will still see him for the next few seasons.
Latu is a senior | 4:54 p.m. Aug. 25, 2008
I don't think he'll be playing again next season.

Unga really would be best served by playing at least 3 seasons in college. BYU has not put too many running backs in the NFL and Unga isn't as fast as he needs to be for the next level. Though he could make a great full back.
