I think Max Hall will finish near the end of the 10 best players. He will not be the best QB and a couple of RBs will fill the top spots. There will also be a few WRs finish ahead of him. This year, a K/P will jump into the top 5. Max has been able to rise with the good luck the Y had last year, but as they finish in a fight for third place, the spotlight will come off some of their stars.

The funny thing about the BYU haters is their lack of just plain ol paying attention.
What in the world causes you to think BYU will be in a fight for 3rd? Who is saying that other than a few Ute fans? Why 3rd? Why not 4th or 2nd?
In any case, BYU will be in a fight for the championship of the MWC. The ideal is that both BYU and Utah go undefeated with the winner going to a BCS game, loser stuck in the Vegas Bowl.
BYU has a real chance to go undefeated. The toughest game on the schedule is Utah, followed by TCU. Both of those games are on the road. After that I would say UCLA only slightly ahead of Washington. UCLA is better than Washington though UCLA is in Provo, Washington is on their turf, both games with their refs.
Luck is hard work leading to good results. And with some of that BYU could go undefeated. I fail to see where fighting for 3rd place comes into the equation.

Max Hall could be the #1 pick if he comes out after this season.

Outstanding Players and the MWC are Mutually Exclusive Terms. The real players are located outside the cozy confines of the conference time forgot, not to mention ESPN.
Once a mid-tier conference, always a mid-tier conference.

Better hurry and pass on your sage advice to the NFL before the next draft. Year after year they continue draft players from non-BCS conferences who have outstanding careers in the NFL.
On second thought, keep your clueless comments to yourself and stop wasting time blogging. Time to take those fries out of the fryer.
