There's a wand on the left side of my steering wheel?

And, signal before you are in the turn lane, or halfway across two lanes. Once you've wandered out in front of me, don't bother signalling. I know what you are going to do. What you need to think of in terms of signalling is that is an opportunity to tell me what you are going to do, not what you are doing or have done.

Also do not use your cell phone while driving.

Get real, this will never happen. Not in Utah, the land of "you can merge in front of me if you can pry the space from my cold dead fingers".

By the way... when I signal, I'm warning you what I'm going to do, not asking for your permission.

When you see my signal, if you think the gap between your bumper and mine is a little small you may want to back off a little instead of speading up, making the gap even smaller. Blocking someones lane change or accelerating to make the gap even smaller after they've signaled their intentions is neither the curtious nor the safe thing to do.

Just something to consider.

all on has to do to get a first hand look at the state of mind of the american public is to go for a drive. we all need to chill. give peace a chance by incorporating it into you daily drive. if you cannot accept this idea because it sounds too much like a "LIBERAL" idea, you need to get some counseling.

if you want me to signal, make sure you do not "close the gap" as I try to move over. My experience driving in traffic (in and out of Utah) has shown that whenever I use my turn signal to change lanes, the car in the lane next to me (but behind me) closes the gap. I'll be courteous as long as you are. :)

You city folks ought to try driving on a regular basis out here in the boondocks. I see a signal light maybe once a week. There are only two reasons for not signaling- you either don't know how, or you consider your self too important to do so. Both reasons are pathetic.

If you look at state law, it is illegal to not leave enough room for another car to merge in front of you or to speed up to keep someone from passing you.
