Demos launch attack on Romney

Brad, I think you're onto something. Edwards would fit nicely into how the Demos view things and conduct themselves.
I prefer Clinton and Monica (either Clinton).
"I have never understood a religion that encourages its members to be prejudice. Why is it o.k. for so-called "Christians" to refuse to vote for Romney just because he's a Mormon (follower of Christ)?"
It's because Baptists have been upstaged by a better religion... and they know it. And they are so hard nosed they can't let go of their "old time religion."
GO Mitt Go
McCain and Romney all the way.
Suuuuure your a Mormon...a Mormon poser is more like it.
He is the most intellectually inconsistent politician in the history of politics," Rep. Barney Frank, D-Mass., said of former Massachusetts Gov. Romney. "I have never seen anyone so completely without any commitment to any particular principle and so willing to say whatever he thinks will help him win the next election."
They must be very afraid of a Romney VP. Myself, I hope McCain picks a woman; 2 candidates come to mind, one from Tennessee, one from Minnesota....
...Woodward said, "We need to actually make sure we're informing the public. Look at this guy's track record. Look what he's actually done, not what he says, because he clearly can't maintain the position for more than a couple sound bites."
Sounds like he is talking about Obama, doesn't it!!!
I hope that McCain is not stupid, I think the perfect VP would be Jindel, but he won't do it, I hope that McCain doesn't choose another liberal as VP.
I am afraid if we have a liberal Pres and VP, then the Republican party is gone.
I am sure that every prospect will have a list of pros and cons. It will be interesting.
If all the republicans on this board can not see by now, how the Religious Right will treat all Mormon candidates you are blind!
It was not Jews or Muslims that were burning down homestead in Missouri, Ohio or Illinois. Sadly so called Christians feel they can force their beliefs on others... As history has taught us they quickly draw the sword when met with resistance!
"In our lovely Deseret" we call ourselves Republicans but the Party uses us for our voting block. The GOP just can not fathom the thought of a MORMON President!
"I'm curious how Romney will explain:
"God hasn't spoken to man since Moses," when this clearly contradicts LDS dogma."
First of all I don't think as VP that will probably be something he needs to address so it is completely meaningless.
Second doesn't Matthew 3:17 completely disprove that when there is a voice from heaven (that would be God) who says, "this is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased". Or if Jesus is God, I am pretty certain the New Testaments documents alot of him talking to man. Besides who said that since Moses God has talked to no man? Whoever said that only could have been stating up to that point. He didn't say and God will not talk to any man after me, if he did then obviously the other scriptures prove that to be incorrect.
Mitt would only be the beginning. You'd have Mormon cabinet members. Orrin Hatch as Secretary of Defense. That Hinckly Prophet would be appointed ambassador to the UN. This is all a Mormon plot, I tell you. It's obvious and if you can't see it then you are fooling yourself. Think about it!! That church has been trying to get Mormons into the white house since inception. Even Joseph Smith ran for president!!!
Listen to me before the next coin has Joseph Smith imprinted on it. They'll run this country the "mormon way", forcibly tithe you, chase out all the black people, and take the freedom of religion from you all!!
Remember, the Democrats only attack those they fear.
This Catholic will vote for a ticket that has Romney on it.
While Mitt was creating billion dollar companies Obama was selling and doing crack COCAINE.
According t the MSM the Messiah speaks to man all the time isn't Barrack Insane Obama the Messiah?
One would think the DemoKKKrats would be happy that the GOP is likely to put up two moderates against their neo-socialist candidate. A McCain/Romney ticket would almost certainly result in people of conscience staying home. Whatever Romney posed as during the primaries, he remains a liberal at heart. McCain really should find someone with at least some conservative leanings as a running mate.
And the DemoKKKrats should stick to picking thier own VP candidate. They've done enough harm picking our standard bearer.
It introduced a Web site section to knock him and sponsored a nationwide conference call for REPORTERS TO LISTEN..."
The master spoke & you (deseret news) barked. Well done, lap dog.
Enough said...point, set, match.
So stop pretending there is. We are all being Unamerican and Anticonstitution by continuing to harp on a candidates religion or lack thereof.
It is a private matter for ALL individuals, and not up for public discussion. Get it? Probably not!
All of em except for Barney. He's been smoking,well...FRANKS!
.... that I don't live in Utah anymore. ;)
