Choose Mitt | 3:13 p.m. Aug. 18, 2008
Out of all of the candidates for President, Republican or Democrat, Mitt is the most qualified. Mitt as McCain's running mate would give him the best chance of being elected President.

What qualifications does Obama have? Virtually none.

Don't put any stock in this. Consider the source of the attacks.

If there is one really good example of a true flip-flooper out there, it is the Dems Presidential Candidate, Mr. O! At least Romney hasn't changed his religion midstream.

Mitt would help McCain WIN as he would shine so bright against Obama. McCain gets my total support IF Mitt is on the ticket. I only want to vote IF he is. He inspired many this year. He is the most intelligent one in this race to help this country out of all the huge challenges it has. He'd do the most work for us for our economy, values, etc. The Democrats are obviously so Afraid of Mitt on the ticket! The Christians Would support Mitt in the end as they would have to or they don't truly stand for values and what they claim to stand behind. Mitt's amazing! (by his fruits you shall know him). I just pray he is on the ticket to help this country. He'd be incredible and so many people would join on in support and excitement with him. I worked hard (for free) calling many people all over this country and I firsthand heard of so much love and support for Mitt. When he's on the ticket then we have HOPE again for America. He'll do more than anyone else could. Please McCain choose Mitt A win for you & for America.

"At least Romney hasn't changed his religion midstream."

Just his values, I guess? Or, is St. Mitt the beloved position on abortion during his reign as governor in the people's republic of Massachusetts so far in the past that it doesn't count?

As a resident of MA's northern neighbor, New Hampshire, I am familiar with the policies and policy shifts of Mr. Romney. This article was spot on. Romney is one whose sole purpose is to force his right-wing, Mormon-inspired, agenda on the populace. Cast aside his flip-flopping if you will; but, his record will speak loudly for itself. He will say and do whatever it takes to get elected. I say let McBush select him as his running-mate. The press and democrats will have a field day.

Obama hasn't changed his religion. He's always been Christian.
But what has he done? | 2:25 p.m. Aug. 19, 2008

What a looser Nobama is.

The guy hasn't even been a senator a year, and he thinks he can be president?

Plaaaaease...

And Romney as VP? Won't happen.

Huckleberry's out scaring the born-agains.

Sure, Utah will vote for the ticket, but the born- agains will run for the southern hills.
MITT FOR VP PLEASE! - Ev | 3:35 p.m. Aug. 19, 2008
No Mitt NEVER voted towards anything towards abortion and you all know that!!!! He never did anything against values. What values do you live?? No Mitt doesn't push his religion on anyone. He lives a good life which we need more people living like that. He gives FREE of his help to Utah and the Olympics and to people in need who we rarely hear about as he does it anonomyously. I heard a lady whose son was helped because of him and he never wanted anyone to know. She said "that's who he really is!" and was grateful forever. He has every right to worship however he chooses as do we all. Let's get off that issue people & grow up a little. It apparently has been a great reason for his success and for his fluency, kindness, and successes for he and his family's lives! He learns to be better as we all do but I know HE WILL stand up for this country and that it is in his "heart" for his children and for ours. We NEED Mitt to help McCain WIN It's so obvious that he's what we do Need as the Democrats fear him.
YES!!! | 5:06 p.m. Aug. 19, 2008
Anyone interested email the rnc, cpac and john mccain headquarters and tell him what you want whether it is Romney on the ticket or someone else. For my money, only Romney will do.
what's the frequency? | 7:11 p.m. Aug. 19, 2008
There is nothing worse than aggressive stupidity.
-- Goethe

Most of these comments seem to be coming from some bizarre dimension where the real truth is 180 degrees away from what is being called the truth The liars in the Republican party love you guys because you so desperately want to believe their LIES You lap up the LIES of Rove, Limbaugh, Coulter, Hannity, and OReilly and cant wait for the next serving You helped put Bush, the worst president in American history, in office TWICE! Now you are saying that John McCain and MITT ROMNEY should take over! Hello?!!! If somebody burns down your house, you dont hand him a fresh box of matches and point the way to your barn It sickens me to hear Romney praised in worshipful terms because its all an act And McCain is becoming senile Why would we want a president whose mind is slipping away and a vice president who brings new meaning to the word phony? That would be STUPID!
Humptydumpty | 8:34 p.m. Aug. 19, 2008
To What's the frequency?:

What ridiculous and perfectly demeaning rant. You just call people names and are mean without a shred of credential... ridiculous. Improve your vocabulary and your reading.
Who flip flops? | 9:08 p.m. Aug. 19, 2008
Ummm, I would say they all do, and do I like that any of them do, not at all. I do like that when they finally realize that there is something that the people want, they will flip flop. Be thankful that all those fools are saying OK, maybe we will drill, cause that is one flip flop that we all need. Finally the people that are not eating bugs and such are having a stronger voice. Evan the great Nanci Polosi is getting close to flip flopping, how about that?
its irrelevant | 10:04 p.m. Aug. 19, 2008
Per Countdown tonight, Joe Biden should be Obama's VP.

Great choice IMO; Foreign policy whiz, tenure to match McCain's, & he'll be the "attack dog" needed to neutralize McCain & the talking heads/lunatic fringe on the right. Plus, he'd have no qualms about verbally tearing Saint Mitt apart in potential VP debates.

Lorin | 11:39 p.m. Aug. 19, 2008
I have asked myself why Huckabee is trying so hard to destroy Romney's chances to be Vice President by stirring up the evangelicals. He says it's because Romney flipped on some issues. But he is out for blood! Nobody goes after someone like that in their own party with blood because they think sometime in their past they voted different then they would have. It has to be personal is all I can think. So I have to believe it is either religious bigotry or jealousy. If it's religious bigotry against Mormons then shame on him for trying to tear down someone elses beliefs. Thats not Christian values. I like that Mitt is refusing to snap back at Huckster when ever asked on the TV show circuit. If it is because jealousy again shame on him. The Bible says thou shalt not covet. Either way the Huckster is going against core Christian beliefs.
egg on your face | 12:44 a.m. Aug. 20, 2008
Many of the posts above and elsewhere on this site are filled with misspellings and poor word choice ... There is an abundance of name-calling worthy of a fourth-grader ... Many posts are nothing more than wild pronouncements of Fox-talk flavored opinion with no facts or CREDENTIALS to back them up ...

(e.g., 3:13 above: "Out of all of the candidates for President, Republican or Democrat, Mitt is the most qualified. Mitt as McCain's running mate would give him the best chance of being elected President. What qualifications does Obama have? Virtually none.")

You mean THAT sycophantic post was ok and mine was not? Wheres the documentation for any of those statements? You accuse me of ranting and of not having a sufficient VOCABULARY? ... And further, despite my quotation of an actual THINKER, my reading has not been deep enough?! I think what youre really trying to say is that even if you were in earth orbit youd still say the earth was flat And I'll bet youd say it AGGRESSIVELY.
Dawn | 7:58 a.m. Aug. 20, 2008
Romney was my first choice.I wasn't sure I could support Mc Cain>if he chooses Romney I wll support him for sure. The news media and Huccaby have all been against Romney. Huccaby was a spoiler from the beginning.
Humptydumpty | 8:21 a.m. Aug. 20, 2008
Perhaps I can help you out "egg on your face" if you are indeed the author of the post "what's the frequency"

Let's see, you called Rove, Limbaugh, Coulter, Hannity, and OReilly liars and intimated that people just sit and wait dependently on them thus insiuating stupidity.

You refer to the man many people credit for their safey for the last 7.5 years thus: "Bush, the worst president in American history, in office TWICE! " Some people, myself being one like him and think he as done a fair job in the face of extreme adversity and unjustified hate.

Of Mitt Romney you use the word phoney and intimate hypocrisy. Some do not like him because he stood on the side of life when faced with abortion decisions in MA. He is pro-marriage between a man and a woman. He governed as a conservative.

You call McCain senile which he clearly is not. Then you called any of us who support these fundamentally good people "stupid".

Any you inflamers wonder why people get irate. Just because you quote a deep thinker, does not make you one nor does it help when you rant incoherently.
mark | 3:09 a.m. Aug. 21, 2008
The Dems hate him; that's a good enough reason to like him. They get real upset, when you mention Obama's Muslim ties, yet are ready to sound the Mormon alarm, when Romney is mentioned. He was my first choice, too. He's a successful businessman, and a good role model. Little Johnny Edwards couldn't carry his jockstrap.
Sen.DickSweat | 3:11 a.m. Aug. 21, 2008
The polls only count when Obama is in the lead I guess. Liberals have a lot more to worry about than who McCain chooses as a VP running mate. No problem with Mitt. Smart, great businesman, was left out to dry in Mass. Mitt on domestic, McCain on international policy, great team.
Someone... | 6:54 a.m. Aug. 21, 2008
on here suggested to write McCain's headquarters (both Senate and campaign) and to the rnc to tell them you want Mitt... it is a great idea. You can also write cpac.

Could you help me. Our problems are man-made, therefore they may be solved by man. And man can be as big as he wants. No problem of human destiny is beyond human beings.
I am from Luxembourg and learning to read in English, give please true I wrote the following sentence: "Phyllotreta albronica except for the flea beetles that feed on potatoes, root feeding."

;) Thanks in advance. Mick.

Hi guys. The power of accurate observation is commonly called cynicism by those who have not got it. Help me! Can not find sites on the: Car alarm company. I found only this - car alarms accessories. To clip the power cord to the battery, there are three metal screws; either the voice or chirping which is used by the car alarm as an armed or as disarmed confirmation. Cheap car alarms, practicality at its finest. Thanks for the help :-), Natalya from Faso.
