If Timps entire offense were seniors last year, they are in big trouble this year.
Rebuild | 1:47 p.m. Aug. 11, 2008
Timpanogos needs to rebuild with there strong sophmore group coming up. This is not the year to reload, its the year to rebuild. And with them dropping to 4A next year they will only have Timpview to worry about.

the passing game may just surprise a few people and will have some gerat protection for the QB

The team will be stronger than most expect. Relying on sophomores to save the team is not the answer. However, as the season progresses, the team will improve. Solid team with good defense, average offense.
hi hater... | 6:12 p.m. Aug. 11, 2008
every one needs to stop hating, who cares about dumb pre-season rankings and predictions. things are decided on the field and who wants it more

How do you think your last years seniors got so good? The key players started since they were sophs. You guys don't have the numbers to have a strong team every year.

All around the T wolves have a good game. The main thing they need is some more size and strength on the line. The orem community is backing the T wolves up this year those bleachers are all going to be full.
T-Fan | 9:06 a.m. Aug. 12, 2008
The T-wolves are going to kick some butt this year. They are so fast and athletic their going to leave opponents in the dust.
timp pride | 10:53 a.m. Aug. 12, 2008
with a QB that runs a 4.4 and a defense returning 6 starters, one a stud linebacker who's played since freshman year, and 2 of which are at least 6-5 230 pounds on the defensive ends and both run under a 4.8, how could you not be good? no sophomores are even close to that...
Timp | 2:05 p.m. Aug. 12, 2008
The seniors will lead this team, and need to be leaders on/off the field. This team will also need help from underclassman. Seniors you keep the team as one. Coaches need to get the best out of the players. I look forward to a good year and the mighty T-Wolves to pull off some big upsets. The first upset...Riverton! Go T-Wolves.
Not Bingham | 10:07 a.m. Aug. 13, 2008
Take a lesson from Bingham who is bringing up 9-10 sophmores to play varsity. When you have a good group, you get them ready now. That is how you win state titles. Timpanogos coaches, take note. You won't even make the playoffs, so why not get your talented sophs ready for a state run?
Good advice | 10:59 a.m. Aug. 13, 2008
Playing underclassmen is a proven way to prepare for success in future years. Layton's success last year, for example, was based on the fact that their seniors were battle-tested and experienced. Sure, they took their lumps as juniors and were forced into action by a weak senior class, but experience is a huge factor in determining success at the high school level. Play those sophomores!
Sophs | 12:39 p.m. Aug. 13, 2008
There are several sophs that could play right now. Havili, Rivers, Nickle, Forbes and others. You gotta get em time coach, they will bring you the trophy in 2 years.
Why | 1:12 p.m. Aug. 13, 2008
Someone please explain to me why you put your receivers in a 3 point stance? Is it the coaches signature? As a former DB, I would eat those receivers coming out of their stance alive! It takes away energy and lateral movement off the line. I just don't get it.
QB | 1:48 p.m. Aug. 13, 2008
The Brown kid is very fast and athletic. I just wonder if he would be best used at another position. Either way he needs to be on the field with his speed. Maybe the o-line should be in 2 point stance, since the receivers are in 3. LOL!
sophmores? | 9:30 p.m. Aug. 13, 2008
maybe two or three sophomores are good enough to play varsity the rest of them are nowhere close to being as good as the seniors. Play the two that are good enough to play and let the rest stay on the sidelines where they belong
re: sophmores? | 8:21 a.m. Aug. 14, 2008
you wouldn't happen to be an upset senior (or parent) who lost their spot to a soph?
TN | 2:45 p.m. Aug. 15, 2008
Bottom line, as long as Coach M is there, Timpanogos will not do squat. Kim Nelson should coach every sport at that school. Get the ball to JD Ashman!!!!

I find it very interesting that you bash on Mullen. He is a great coach, he knows more to the game then you do. If parents would just SHUT THERE MOUTHS, your son aint goin' to the N.F.L. nobody on Timpanogos is. Just let your kids go out there and have fun, alot of parents ruin the fun out of sports.Parents think they know it all but in reality no very very little.
Sam Richards | 9:25 a.m. Aug. 16, 2008
After lasts nights green and white game we still need some work over all as a team but we will have some wins. Let the coaches make judgments where the talent is. If a player can add to the team overall the coaches will make that call, just come out and support the team whether your son is a soph or a senior. If a player has talent he will get his chance. Varsity is a much faster game than soph 7 on 7 the sophs are a great bunch of talent they will get their chance. Cream rises to the top..
re: TN | 10:54 a.m. Aug. 16, 2008
I promise you if a good quality coached had the group last year, there would be a 5A State Champion Trophy hangin in the trophy case. Mullen is a good coach, but doesn't run a good program. Watch Timpview, Alta and Bingham, that is how you run a program.
no N.F.L. Talent? | 10:43 p.m. Aug. 16, 2008

LOL! the line is in a two point stance. get it right. and as for someone wondering why the receivers are in a 3 point stance.. you obviously never tried it because you are so much more explosive coming out of 3 than 2. you stay lower too. and yeah its also kind of a coach's signature. and everyone should just stay quiet about the sophomores. if they are good enough to get varsity time, then they will play. dont worry about it parents. your kid will get his day. jd ashman is too small. good one though.
WR | 9:51 a.m. Aug. 18, 2008
If the 3 point stance is sooo good, why are you guys the only one in the country that does it? That's what I thought. Why do you want to stay lower? Your not a lineman trying to push someone around. It's funny your trying to defend the 3 point stance, if it was so great we'd see it all over.

TIMPANOGOS DEFENCE IS DOPE AND NO ONE CAN SEE THEM ON THE FELD AND THEY GO THREE IN OUT THE HOLE GAME
