The Don's last chance was two years ago when they couldn't accomplish anything with Robles (U of U) at QB Smith (BYU) at WR. They have had the talent but not the coaching.

There is no doubt in my mind that spanish will take the region and make a run for the title. You just watch!

This team is ten times better than that 06 07 team. Robles was overrated like everyone knew he blew it his senior year. Breck Lewis is going to have a huge season and on offense they have tons of weapons for ex. Richard Wilson D1 TE, Jordunn Mattinson only a Jr will be recruited as big or even bigger as Richard, this kid is a monster 6'5 with great hands. Chase loftin 6'3 Jr great hands.. and on D.. should be the strongest defense ive ever seen at Spanish..

I will believe it when I see it. The Dons have had the talent every year and everyone thinks "this is the year". This year is 10 times better than 06-07? Hardly...Sadly, SF has squandered its talent over the last 3-4 years and now will just get by until they are in 3A or 4A... Richard Wilson is the only bright spot and he will get run to death. The offense is so predictable and teams will key in on him.

If SF can make it through a brutal pre-season without injuries they could take region or give AF a scare. Coach C. don't be to concerned about your pre-season record, keep your players healthy and you will do good.

I'm an avid football county football fan. 4th in region? I have been to a couple of their practices and games last year. This team is a very good team and if you don't watch out they'll sneak out on you very fast. They have alot of key players who played varsity last year who have only gotten better. The passing attack of Breck Lewis to Richard Wilson, Chase Loftin, Jordunn Mattinson, and Nate Binks will be the top on the state. Go dons!!

They may have a good group of receivers but you've got to run through the middle. Watch out for that Horsley kid at PG because he'll level you.

My boy plays at SF and the coaching staff currently at SF is one of the best in the state. Different from 2 years ago. A very good O line coach from the U, one of the best QB coaches in Utah, and a very good offensive coordinator who runs an offense, that if healthy with these horses, could do even better than last year when they put up 40 on Timpanogas 30 on Timpview, 50 something on Payson and beat Hunter and AF. I hear their numbers are really down with Salem Hills opening and that if anyone gets hurt they could be in big trouble. The boys are positive and believe. We in Spanish need to get out and support this tough schedule of they got. Coach C is doing a good job.

You must not get out of SF much if you think that coaching staff is the best in the State. I agree with th O line coach but the Offense is actually the most predictable in the state.

Give me a break. This SF coaching staff you're so proud of really dropped the ball on this group of seniors... who is, by the way, a very talented group. The schedule is a joke. It's like saying "well, if you boys can just stay healthy I think we'll be okay" and then dropping the front gate of the boat like on Omaha Beach on D-Day. All Payson and the rest will have to do is step around the bodies. But I hope your boy gets that promotion your bucking for. :)

WHo named this kid JorDUNN in that spelling? They need to be shot. Why does UTah have the weirdest spelling names? It's like a utah thing or contest where let's see who can spell their kids name the weirdest. I met a maykenzee the other day and that crap was on her nametag. SAD!

The coaches are very good this year. The new coaches at o line and QB are well respected and know what they are teaching our boys.

all of you that are tearing down the 06 season need to be put in your place, this years talent is good but will never be what they were, 5 of those seniors started as sophmore and we elite. they had some tough breaks, and mental breakdowns but talent wise they were at the top to come through spanish, robles, smith and fox can play and you will se them ripping up the mwc when they are off thier missions in a couple of years just you watch.

I think the 2008 team has a lot of talent. They do need to mix up the offense more. One thing that kills SF sports is the name game. We need to give every kid a chance. It is effort and practice on the field not your last name/heritage that should give you a starting spot. Go Dons, make some noise, lets shock the region.

why does everyone hate Spanish Fork? they are a great team! Spanish fork has the best talent this year! yeah sure Fox,Smith, and Robles were good. people need to stop living in the past and look at the present! Spanish has great coaches and a great team, there's no doubt in my mind they'll take region this year and sneak up on the other teams and possibly take state just wait and see!
