I like to think I can take some credit for the Judge's honor this year. I was a student at South High when Judge Iwasaki was student-teaching. Bratchild was a kind description of me. I'm not sure, but I may be the reason he went into law instead of education. I've followed his career and think he has done this state an incredible service. I went into education and was paid back in full for the misery I caused then. However, if you speak with my friends and colleagues they will tell you "Once a Bratchild, Always a Bratchild". Congratulations and well deserved, your Honor.
