Many bands have said that. Are they just puffing? Who knows? But enough have said it to make me wonder if there isn't something to it.

maybe you should go to a concert in salt lake and find out! It is true I have been to many shows in Salt Lake and out of state. Utahns have fun and get in to the shows singing and dancing. Out of state people just stand there expressionless. When it comes to having fun at a concert Salt Lake is the place to see one.

I've always been amazed at the crowd here in the Salt Lake area. The fans rock the stadium at concerts. The only one I've been to elsewhere that the crowd was better was Aerosmith in the Columbia Gorge, of course, I was on the front row so nothing else really mattered.

Utahns get more encores than anywhere else I've been for concerts. Whether it's rock groups, festivals, or classical venues, the fans here are very appreciative of the artists. Sometimes I think too appreciative of sub-par performances, but nonetheless their enthusiasm gets them bonus numbers all the time.
