when will these people realize that using "what the prophet wants" is a pretty stupid reason to give up your freedom, break laws, and give all your belongings to a church?
If they're so religious, they should be thinking more about what God wants instead of "the prophet", who certainly doesn't speak for God.
You think they're beginning to realize that Warren Jeffs is way more trouble than he's worth?

Warren Jeff’s is a waste of a man and yet they will follow him to the ends of the earth.

I grew up in the town near where this dairy farm is located. I used to see old man Parley Harker from time to time driving around the farm. Parley was in the First Presidency of the FLDS as a counselor to Warren Jeff's father, Rulon. The Jeff's family is extremely manipulative, I have no doubt that they tricked Parley into giving up his farm to the "Church" rather than leaving it to his sons and family who had worked so hard to make it a successful operation. This farm is an extremely successful one. I am sure that it is money generated by this farm that helped pay the costs of Warren Jeff's lifestyle.

Hey yeah, when is everybody who doesn't have exactly the same religious beliefs as me wake up and realize how stupid they are?

Yea, no different than agreeing to pay the LDS church you tithings only to have them garnish your wages when you " Miss " a payment. Both are cults who buffalo people into believing that somehow they can IM with God and get daily advice/instruction. To be fair, the catholics and others have the same sort of scam going on. Trust God, not man!

I don't know, but blindly following the directives of a man (or woman), regardless of the consequences, is pretty stupid, wouldn't you agree? Just look at Jonestown. Yeah - he was a great prophet - and made a hell of a kool-aid.
So this guy gives away his farm, and now the family is mad. They should blame the grandfather, not the trust manager. Plus the trust manager is trying to sell it back to the family. The fact that the buyers are not FLDS isn't his problem. Sounds more like a family feud between current FLDS and ex-FLDS family members.
That's what happens when you make life so restrictive - you split families when the smarter people realize putting up with all the crazy rules is a waste of precious life.
My forecast is that the smart ones will leave FLDS and the stupid ones will continue to inbreed to the point of it not even mattering anymore. Go ahead, people - marry your uncles - we'll see your children playing the banjo up in a tree, looking out for Burt Reynolds.

And now the children are mad. They should be mad, at the grandfather that gave away the property that they worked so hard on. What a mean spiteful man, giving away all their property and hard work to some church instead of his own family. I mean it's ok to give to a church, but not at the expense of your own family. That's just mean.
