Reader comments: FCC proposal could enhance local radio-station coverage

It'll never happen. Clear Channel, Citadel, Bonneville, etc., all have too much power and bring in too much money. Further, local (smaller) broadcast companies don't have the money to buy more stations or put studios in the city of license or to staff stations 24/7. So, who is going to keep these stations going? And, what about non-commercial stations? Will they have to comply?
