Why only five years? | 7:21 a.m. July 9, 2008
I don't understand how this man only has to serve a maximum of five years when he killed an innocent boy. This man's "temper" killed a tiny child. He should serve a minimum of fifteen years or more. What a sad justice system we have.
I agree | 10:03 a.m. July 9, 2008
I have a son who assaulted some people during the commission of a robbery while he was a dumb 18-year-old on meth (looking for more drug money) in 1993. No one was killed, or greatly harmed. His crime was serious, and his behavior wrong, and the drugs are not an excuse for it. But he has served almost 15 years (in August), and has several more to go. If he had killed someone he could have been out of prison sooner. That is crazy, for sure. I hope this man gets some good anger management counseling, and drug counseling. Until he takes responsibility for the boy's death, he should not be released.
Shouldn't this be... | 10:06 a.m. July 9, 2008
...an "aggravated" offense because he was in a position of trust? Little Jayden Cangor CAN'T GROW because of the angry, abusive decision of this man. He doesn't think he was abusive. Most abusive people don't, and until he can recognize that he is an abuser, and successfully complete anger management and drug classes/counseling, he should remain in prison for the full 5 years, which is not long enough as it is.

Sorry, misspelled the name | 10:10 a.m. July 9, 2008
I meant to say Jayden Cangro CAN'T GROW because of the abusive decision of this man. Typing error. I feel so sad for this family.
