The psychiatrist needs a little therapy himself - for his own oversized ego. Where in the world did the court find this good fellow - Oprah or Jerry Springer Show? No? Perhaps that is where he hopes to end up - opportunity to gain a little fame, more affluent clients? Um, of course being the "professional" we are supposed to assume he "walks his talk"? Reading his "analysis" of the situation it doesn't seem too likely, not to mention the fact he also seems to have forgotten his professional duty to "client confidentiality".
