The arrogance of these G-8 counries is amazing. As if they could control the global climate just by deciding to.

Climate change is the biggest fraud in world history! Doesn't surprise me that Bush would jump on board.

Climate change is real and so is the effect of man. But even discarding that fact, there are other environmental issues (clean air), and pervasive economic and security reasons to embrace cean alternative energy- specifically, wind power, geothermal power and solar energy (both photovoltic and thermal). Bush has squandered his opportunity to lead- but either McCain or Obama will provide the leadership we need to move away from fossil fuels.
