Just hope "e-fuel" doesn't stand for "ecoli-fuel". Hope this works. Sounds like a great idea. Maybe after they get it up and running, they can make their own fuel to run their plant, to provide the high heat and pressure required. Then no other resources would be used. Now, if they could just figure out a way to make "poo-gas", clean-burning, unstinky car fuel!!

Have you ever driven down to Payson? They already have a poo-power plant down there, its been in operation for about 3-4 years now.

Salt Lake City was self sufficient with power generation 35 years ago. Methane was drawn of the anerobic digester, scrubbed and used as fuel for the generator engine. It supplied all the electric needs for the plant which are substantial.

I hope the process of making pellet 'e-fuel' will take time. Otherwise, the stuff needs to be stored for weeks before it is burned. Why? Because radioactive iodine from patients receiving thyroid cancer treatments enters the sewer system each time the radioactive patient goes to the bathroom and the iodine concentrates in biosolids. The thought of iodine going up the smoke stack concerns me.

Old News, No, Payson's power plant is a Natural Gas power plant that gets it's fuel from a pipeline that goes right through Payson's Canyon and off to the gas-fields of Wyoming. Payson doesn't have a poo-to-power plant.

"The Poo-To-Power?" Now that's one creative name...
