Some law ought to be enacted to allow ALL the members of a gang to be arrested when ONE member commits such a heinous crime. Guilty by membership!

Last spring we had a 'family' (it was about 15 people) move into our block (Central Ogden). Suddenly and daily we had problems previously unknown to our neigborhood. We organized a neighborhood meeting within 24 hours and we had over 85 people in attendance including community police, the mayor, city council members as well as candidates for those positions.
We held three of these meetings, receives lots of good information from the mayor and police and within three months the 'family', which turned out to be gang bangers were gone. Police we called for absolutely every problem and charges were usually filed for those problems.
We also discovered three other drug houses in our area and they have since been evicted.
WE TOOK BACK OUR NEIGHBORHOOD.

As long as the courts are so lenient on the gang members, there is no hope. Even the family of fifteen mentioned, is going to be back on the street, and living somewhere else. You fixed your neighborhood, and drove them into someone else's area. <shrug>
Crime CANNOT be tolerated. Criminals thrive on the indulgence of society's understanding.
Arrest em, and put them away for twenty years or so. For the bleeding hearts who disagree, perhaps they should go to jail for a few years, and then be released into YOUR neighborhood and see how you like it.
It really is time to take our neighborhoods, and our country back.

I am tired of the crime in Utah! What has happened to a once peaceful state. It's time to clean Utah up so it's like old times! I am so sick tired of these ignorant stupid ugly gangs! Every child in Utah should be safe on our streets but they are not, because of mean EVIL gangs!

The reason we are having this illegal gang activity and most of it coming from Illegals in this state. Utah is a Sanctuary state for illegals and their criminal activity. It's obvious that the sanctuary attitude of the Deseret News proliferates this feeling of the Governor and the state judicial system. When will the Deseret Morning News and this state wake up that you are responsible for this killing. You people tolerate this illegal behavior and want the rest of the law-abiding citizens of this state to turn their heads. No longer is this going to happen. We got rid of one lying hypocrite congressmen and we will get rid of every elected and appointed official that lives this damnable heresy of catering to the illegals in this state. It's done. It's over! Justice will take place and we will take back our streets and our homes and our towns with or without your help. NO GANG WILL SURVIVE THE STREETS OF UTAH AGAIN! It's over! It's not vengeance. It's a reckoning and it will happen!

When is this country going to get back to the way things need to be handled...get rid of these people once they are caught and proven guilty, and others may think twice. But instead, we will send them to prison, let them graduate from college and hope they are better citizens once they are out. GET REAL! What happened to taking them out and hanging them from a tree....we need to get hard on these people and let them know we will not stand for it here in this country! Send them to God for judgement ASAP!!

Thats just words until something is done. Violent gangs needs to be law enforcements #1 priority.

IT's all just talk.
UNtil we get and round them and haul them out to the desert for detention and hard labor...
but lawyers and the aclu will always put stop to any serious attemp to gang activity.

The minority communities know who the gang members are. It's up to them to turn these terrorists in.
As long as their illegal activity is tolerated they will continue to prey on the good people in their communities. If you know who they are turn them in, they are hurting you and your race.
