Slow Down | 2:53 p.m. July 7, 2008
That area is notorious for people going way too fast on their way to or from Lake Powell.

Please take another lesson from someone elses heartbreak and SLOW THE HECK DOWN.
Be CAREFUL out there! | 6:38 p.m. July 7, 2008
Kudos to the EMT and friends who stopped and did their best to help the injured and dying.

The advice for everyone to slow down while driving is important, ESPECIALLY if you are towing something like a boat, and DOUBLY if you are towing something else behind the boat! Make sure you have enough tongue weight and proper loading to prevent trailer sway. Going slower will also help provide a safety margin needed to handle unexpected side gusts from wind or passing semi trucks.

We loved Darren. He loved life and was always happy! Our family knew him at the Cottonwood Spa, and remember when his wife, Cindy, passed away and when Darren met his new wife and was so happy once again. Our condolences go out to his wife and family.
