Riveting, indeed. This match was truly a battle of the titans of tennis. Amazing to watch. Thrilled to have witnessed it. It is a match that will long be remembered.

Agreed... I'm a casual fan, but this match was something else... the prototype "instant classic"

What's in the water over there is a thing called open-mindedness, at least when it comes to sports.

If you ask the average American sports fan to watch anything besides baseball, football, and basketball, most of them would turn to dust. Typical American big-three-watching couch potatoes.....

Try some other sports (like cycling, tennis, or soccer) and you just might find that they are as good or - gasp! - even better than your venerated big 3.

Two of the most astounding athletes of our time, at top form, battling it out. Just a treat to watch. I so wanted both of them to win.

And then, curse it, my TiVo missed the end because of the rain delays. *Sigh*

Great match between two outstanding champions. Nadal is incredible and Federer is an amazing player. Some people say he is the best of all time, and he may be, but I would love to see a grass court match between him and Sampras when Pete was in his prime. That would be a TREAT!
