Pretty sad that this 5 line blurb is the total extent of the coverage of this great event.
Come on DN, we expect better. On Monday, there were 3 full length articles about the Volley Ball tourney that was held in SLC concurrently with the USAW National Championship in Orem. I appreciate that Amy has a stake/interest in promoting Volley Ball, but come on. Wrestling is the 3rd biggest participation sport in Utah HS. Readers care about wrestling, and will get info about it somewhere. If not in the DN, then somewhere else.
You have a chance to redeem yourselves with the National Championships for the 15 - 18 year olds that will be held July 18-29 in Fargo ND. Utah is sending a team of more than 50 of the best HS wrestlers in the State to this event. Steve Sanderson, of Wasatch HS, is head coach of the team. The team has an official photographer. Come on now...
