all five of them should be banned from all high school sports activities for the rest of their time spent in high school. If the coach and school district don't agree, then that might be more of a problem then what the kids did.

How were these young men "upstanding"? Just because they played sports? PLEASE! Look at the records of pro and college ball players and tell me that the act of playing sports makes anybody "upstanding".

just cuz a few pro athletes arent upstanding doesnt mean they all arent. You sound like a non athletic person with a grudge...

I think the point he was trying to make was, just because a person doesnt have a record and is involved in something as all-american as football, it doesnt make them upstanding. I had the same thoughts. Obviously this isnt out of the blue and these boys were/are engaged in other activities most of us would deem not upstanding. Every criminal has a first crime right?
