Millions of typos on this, I capitalized them:

"Hannah Stewart and her alter-ego music superstar Hannah Montana"
supposed to be MILEY Stewart

and "The duo, originally from NASHVILLE, Tenn"
they're from Franklin

"On that album, Cyrus wrote EIGHT of the 10 songs"
supposed to be seven

otherwise, Miley is amazing.

Miley Cryus is the continuation of Disney sex slaves. First Britney, then Lindsay, now Miley. Of course we make such a big deal when photographed barebacked but remember Annie Lebowitz has done much work for Disney. Disney wants your children to become consumer slaves to them.

Where are the real concerts this summer? Pick your poison. It's either cancer or AIDS! Hannah Montanna or Motley Crue.
Thats right no Rush,ZZTop,or anyone

Let's see. A young teenager, role model to countless young teen and pre-teen girls has seductive pictures taken of her while her father looks on. Those pictures get displayed in a magazine.
And Provo is proud to have her perform in their largest concert of the year.
Way to go Provo! Way to stand up for family values!

What are "Family Values"?

Are they the values of sending young men and women to die fighting for oil?

Are they about making sure marriage and bitter divorce are only for one man and one woman?

I've heard this term "Family Values" and no one has ever defined it.

While you are at it, please define "Our Way of Life".

What does that mean?

Riding around in an SUV and sitting on the couch watching football?

Disney is brilliant at marketing. Having teen idols is part of "Our Way of Life". Disney knows how to make a mint off creating teen idols and marketing them and the teeny boppers love it.

Wheres the harm?

Certainly preferable to invading another country and killing thousands for oil.
sad day | 9:55 p.m. June 30, 2008
It is truly saddening that Miley Cyrus is being allowed to perform her tawdry brand of degrading "pop" music at the Lord's own university.
Oh Happy Day ! | 10:05 p.m. June 30, 2008
sad day,

Sounds like you will be having a sad day on July Fourth.

Our family will be having a great time at the Stadium of Fire!

I'm willing to buy you a bag of lemons if you would like. You can suck on them during the show.

Anyway, if the Child Protective Services takes kids away from parents based on hoax phone calls, what about the really bad parents who encourage their kids to emulate this future tabloid cover?
not sad day | 10:20 p.m. June 30, 2008
Oh...get real sad day.

Here goes the re-hash. And all over an entertainer that can't even sing well.

But then, Taylor Swift is doing great by all accounts and she's no great talent herself. Nowadays it seems like success in the music business is often as much about people connections and special effects as it is about the actual singing talent. Thank goodness for the true young talents like Leona Lewis and Josh Groban, and perennial artists like Jewel.

Wow so many many judges...We are here to learn and grow!! How can we do that if we are perfect? We all make mistakes, so give the girl a break just as you expect your Savior to give you one!!

Joe Moe,

You are not going to get a great act at the SOF.

The Who, Rolling Stones, Bowie, Coldplay, Black Eye Peas, U2, Journey, The Tubes, REO, Sting, Rush, INXS, Brian Ferry, Aerosmith, Van Halen, AC/DC etc. etc.

Not gonna happen!

The act reflects the tastes of the attenders.

Miley is probably about as rockin' as it's gonna get.

To TimJ Define Please, how did we get from Miley Cyrus to lame criticisms of the Iraq War as a "war for oil?" Where is that connection? And please, if you haven't looked at gas prices lately, perhaps you're missing the obvious: If this had been a war for oil, we would have cheap gas because we're "occupying Iraq" and "spilled our blood to control their oil." Where is all that Iraqi oil we're supposedly fighting to steal? Oh yeah, that's right, the Iraqis still own it and are negotiating deals with oil companies all over the world to sell it and rebuild the Iraqi economy, not just for the exclusive use of the USA. Stop drinking the left's KoolAid and look at the facts. We didn't take anyone's oil. What other nation besides the USA do you know of that would have freed another from a dictator and NOT taken control of the freed nation's oil? We kept our word, or more precisely, GWB kept his word, but you hate him too much to be reasonable.

Back to Miley, let's all forgive and forget her Vanity Fair incident, unless she does something similar again. Then we can boycott.

She regretted her action, she has tried to make restitution by making public her apology. She has not done it again. Which parts of the repentance process has she missed out?
I believe that God is her judge. And if her repentance is genuine I believe he will forgive her.
So why can't some of you?
Go Mylie but... | 11:09 p.m. July 1, 2008
My big regret about having Mylie Cyrus at the Stadium of Fire is that so few Utah County residents will actually be able to attend the apex event of the Freedom Festival. Not that she is to blame, probably a decent kid, but the way the tickets were sold, basically stank. No chance this year for my family (or others in my neighborhood) to attend this year's Stadium of Fire...

Oh Brother,

Apparently you are blind to the reason for the 911 hoax and the PERMANENT bases being built in Iraq. Keep being a good little doobie. The elites love people like you.
rachael | 3:55 p.m. July 4, 2008
is it going to be live on tv, because my friend flew down there and has been doing like 8 hour a day practices because she is going to be one of miley's dancers!!!
