what the D.N. didn't identify was whether these fine citizens were: a)fine upstanding (but illegal)contributors to the local economy that the chamber of commerce defends or: b)journeyman electricians who thought they would take up shoplifting as a lark!

Good reporting. That is a pretty sizeable sum and it is nice not to have to wonder who or why.
