Not to infer that the station should not have been closed but at the same time many citizens are being subjected to the same conditions in apartment complexes and forced to endure the toxic affects of mold. I know of several apartment complexes plagued with mold and reported to county health departments but they will not respond to complaints of these same hazards the occupents of apartments face. The county should get off this double standard and do more to ensure safe living conditions for apartment dwellers. Whole families are forced to live in these environments, because of lease and contracts, and the county won't get involved or charge them a high fee just to check a complaint. Even with medical records and proof of mold related illness, the county health department is keeping their doors shut to citizen complaints. Mean while the aprtment complexes are not doing anything to get rid of the mold, they just repaint and sign up more victims on iron clad leases. So if the firemen can be evacuated why can't mold infested apartment complexes?

"mold has infiltrated a West Jordan fire station"

Have you never heard of "BLEACH"?..... (this can be found in any store you know)......

Than some while that it's in apartment complexes to?.

CLEAN IT UP if you see it, don't wait till your landlord does it for you, or the County Government has to pay you to find someone to clean it up, than afterward prime than paint where it's at on the walls. It's that simple folk's. Why are you so lazy?. Just do it. CLEAN IT UP YOURSELF.
