Kevin Love is extremely overrated. Did you see his last game where he got destroyed by memphis? They guy is nothing but hype.

did you happen to see the other 30 something games in which he played extremely solid and dominated inside? Guess not.

He has some Ostertagish qualities, he'll be like an Adam Morrison, all hype.

Black or white most players in tthe draft are over rated.

And most will not make it.

Particularly this draft in which almost everyone is very young and unproven and has potential. We will not know about his draft for several years.

Though your comments seem tinged with racism since you picked on the first white player drafted.

remember what people said about larry bird, slow coudn't jump etc, didn't stop him from becoming one the greatest of all-time.

The fact is most of the time you just don't know.

Year after drafters makes mistakes.
supposed sure things crash and unknowns become stars.

So why not give Love a chance? ucla did, it worked pretty well.

Sadly for Kevin, coming here to the Twin Cities means he'll be playing for a team that...at best...ranks 5th on the sporting heirarchy, behind (well behind) the Vikings, Twins, Wild, and Gopher hockey.

Kevin Love is a great player. He can pass better than the big men on most teams. He's a good rebounder, an outstanding shooter and tough in the paint. I agree with the NBA scouts who rated him highly and expect him to succeed in the pros. I reject the opinion of DesNews readers who think Love is overrated.
