I an so happy they WON prizes in a contest, but no "free tickets to go overseas hey?." The crys of oh poor me strike out here. As the value of the dollar dwindles, students across the nation are abandoning their plans to study abroad in Europe and opting for cheaper destinations. Students are avoiding Western Europe and choosing programs in Latin America, Asia and Africa. European study abroad programs at BYU are still as full as ever."First, for students who have their mind set on studying in Europe, a decline of 10 percent or more in the dollar is unlikely to discourage them,BYU programs are 40 percent cheaper than comparable programs at other institutions. According to The Wall Street Journal report, over the past two years, the dollar has lost more than 20 percent of its value against the Euro and 6 percent against the pound. So "get back to Home Schooling" than, more can be learned this way, than overseas.

Hey lady, what tangent are you on???

Just be happy for the accomplishments of these outstanding young people. These children are the future of our nation. I would have to say that outstanding individuals like these children make the future much brighter.

Congratulations!!!

If you were their home school teacher I would be really worried. That was as incoherent as I have ever read. I have no idea where you are coming from.

WOW. Congrts to these students! this is a great accomplishment. I placed first in state in 2004 and went to Nationals in DC. Nationals is a tough competition. Its a great accomplishment to place or even go. Congrats to those who spent the time to do projects. It takes a great deal of work and research. I am glad to see the competition is still alive and so many students were able to represent Utah.
