How can Valentine say for one second that "our present system works"? It doesnt drunken driving and underage drinkers off the streets? Most of all it does nothing to educate people on the effects of drinking by having memberships that people must register and pay for. I agree to boost the price for a liquor license and increase the penalties and fines for clubs who allow minors or allow excessive drinking. The old school thinking of "penalize everyone for the mistakes of the few" has never worked. Educate people and hold them responsible should they break the law. After that let people live. After all that is what Joseph Smith taught was to teach correct principles and let them govern themselves.
