Malcolm should never have agreed to testify.

Does he really expect the jury to believe that he only intended to fire a warning shot, especially when he did NOTHING to help Jenkins after he was shot?

Of course the defense attorney's are going to say that Jenkins roughed him up. What does one expect from lawyers? I hope that this guy gets what he deserves.

I understand there is extensive video of what happened. The jury will see it, we will not. So I'm inclined to let them decide what happened. Maybe there was an element of self-defense to it, I don't know.

AS A LONG TIME FRIEND OF THE VICTIM VERNE JENKINS,I AM TRULY OFFENDED THAT THE MURDER WOULD CLAIM "SELF DEFENSE." I KNOW THAT VERNE WAS DOING HIS JOB. IF HE DID ROUGH MALCOM UP, THEN SO BE IT. THE CRAZY MAN DESERVED TO BE ROUGHED UP BY THE WAY THAT HE ACTED IN PUBLIC, AND PUT OTHER PEOPLES LIFES IN DANGER. I WISH THAT I COULD ACTUALLY TESTIFY, EVEN THOUGH I WAS NOT THERE. VERNE WAS ALWAYS THERE FOR ME, WHEN I NEEDED HIM-AND VICE VERSA. NOT A DAY PASSES THAT I DON'T THINK OF MY VERNEY AND WISH THAT I COULD SEE HIS SMILING FACE.HE WAS A HARD WORKIN MAN THAT CHERISHED HIS SON, AND HIS NEW WIFE.HOPEFULLY I CAN GO THE THE SENTENCING, AND GET CLOSURE FOR MYSELF...AND EVERYONE ELSE. I LOVE YOU VERNE, AND MISS YOU EVERYDAY!
