Can I just say I was excited when I first saw the trailer. I'll for sure see it with my wife tomorrow
Environmental Message? | 6:28 p.m. June 26, 2008
I'm sure there is one, however, you must understand that Stanton didn't want this to be an environmental message movie. Read the article in the New York Times. He talks about how this idea came about in 96, before all the green frenzy. He actually talks about how he started freaking out when he could see that people might think he had a green agenda.

I'm going this weekend. Sounds like Pixar's done it again!

I'm a huge Disney fan and a big fan of al of Pixar's films thus far.

I saw Wall*E at a midnight showing, and it was, well, boring.

Great animation, a couple of great characters, but overall it was not a great story. Sad!

Just saw Wall*E with my two daughters (ages 6 and 9). I thought it was "okay", my two daughters were bored to tears.

I would wait until the video store has this in stock.

I saw a midnight showing of this and thought it was great.
One of the best movies ever made in my opinion.
Lots of great messages throughout the movie without it ever feeling like you are being preached at.
Great messsages about maybe stopping all the noise and laziness and technology and our go go go society and looking around you every once in awhile.
That's just one of the many wonderful messages in this film.
It's funny, heart warming, colorful, creative, and should not offend anyone.

Ever seen a classic movie - you know - the one's where characters and story are important. Where all the characters have some semblance to real people instead of just the two or three stars (sometimes), and where they have morals, and where they made you feel good instead of like you're wading through a sleaze farm, and where the special effects weren't the real star, and where there was subtlety, and intelligence, and men (if you know what I mean), and values, and you didn't have to cringe all the time?

>Ever seen a classic movie...and men

And women! It's pretty hard to find actresses these days that are as classy as the likes of Barbara Stanwyck, Grace Kelly, etc., or who can even act well.

And no, I'm not an old guy pining for the old days, just a young guy pining for a few people in Hollywood to actually have a little talent, class, and conscience.

I fully agree. Then men are falling away also. But women-wise, few women are classy. The media is now portraying some actresses of classy because they are thin and look like old stars or bear some resemblance. These few though miss the quality of previous actresses.

I can't stand watching the Oscars now. It's a waste that such untalented people get so many awards.

Took my kids to see a double feature of Wall*E & the Hulk at a drive-in Friday last, and we can't wait to see Wall*E again. From 14 to 3, they all loved it, as did I. Hulk, on the other hand, didn't hold their interest long. So far the only thing about that one that they remember or have told me that they liked was the music. But Wall*E they haven't stopped talking and laughing about yet. One of the things that amazed me most is how well they told the story with situational development and character interaction. There really wasn't a whole lot of dialog. Gorgeous animation (as usual from Pixar), clean humor, along with endearing characters, and good messages at many levels. There aren't many movies that I have any interest in seeing anymore, and even fewer that I am willing to pay full price to see. But this is one.
