Jimmy can not believe that they don't have trent plaisted going as a lottery! jimmy thinks the jazz should trade up to fourteen or fifteen and get the missing piece for the jazz in trent plaisted.

Plaisted will gone down in history as the John Walsh of BYU basketball. Remember the highly touted BYU quarterback who left school early because some ESPN draft gurus were projecting him as a first-round draft pick in the NFL? Then he didn't get picked at all, in any round. Oh well, some people make mistakes when they get just a whiff of big money.
2nd round at best | 8:29 a.m. June 22, 2008
I like BYU and Trent Plaisted--but I am not a believer that Trent will be drafted.

Jimmy, as much as it would be nice if Trent Plaisted would go in the firts round of the draft, he doesn't have the skill set yet to be a first rounder. He has the athletism and that is what teams like but his skill set needs developing before he will be a first round pick. His only chance is if Boston (Danny Ainge)pick him with the idea he can develope. Trent would have been better off staying in school to develope his game. I hope the Jazz get Alexis Ajinca, Robin Lopez or Serge Ibaka, they are athletic, shot blockers with alot of potential.

No short arm long neck player who couldn't dominate in college level. Although Jazz really wanted to take Hoffa so tey may do somethinglike that in 2nd round. I gesss he could be back up to Millsap.

When has any of these commentors seen some of the international players to say the jazz should take them?
Brandon Rush | 11:16 a.m. June 22, 2008
Please.....make the pick be Brandon Rush!
Joopiter to Marz | 1:21 p.m. June 22, 2008
who is this brandon rush?
what? | 1:45 p.m. June 22, 2008
Plaisted will be drafted, in my opinion, even though I don't know if he will make an NBA team. Wouldn't it be funny if he were drafted by the Jazz or Boston? That would mean that he would have to live in Provo again... He entered the draft to get away from that place.

Brandon Rush played for Kansas. Didn't you watch college ball? He is a great player. I do not think the Jazz will draft him, they have way too many swing players to do that.
McGee | 3:15 p.m. June 22, 2008
If Javale McGee is around at 23 we need to pick him up. The kid is a freak!

I find it interesting that some are predicting him Lottery while others are predicting him late 1st round or 2nd...

Your grammar and punctuation clearly mark you as a ewe graduate, possibly with honors.
too young | 1:15 a.m. June 23, 2008
a lot of these college kids are too young and should stay in school and mature.

this is just more of the NBA diluting its talent pool and putting a sub-standard product on the floor.
J Hall | 10:49 a.m. June 23, 2008
Too young, you're wrong. The talent is rising, not diluting. Most of these players that will be drafted in the first round would all be consistent starters and/or stars if they played in the 20th century. Also the talent pool has expanded globally, making the NBA the best "Product" you could have.
